Hapless Bills Fan Posted January 11, 2017 Posted January 11, 2017 Its what happens when you fire coaches as we were forced to do to Rex. McDermott's guy is McCoy, not Lynn. Lynn may in fact be the Chargers HC. McCoy is an outstanding candidate to take over the offense, its rare the Bills get a coordinator as qualified as he is. It would be pretty interesting if Lynn became HC in San Diego while San Diego's fired HC came here as OC. Some of the national media is reporting that Vance Joseph will become the Denver HC and wants to bring McCoy into Denver as OC, though.
Buffalo_Stampede Posted January 11, 2017 Posted January 11, 2017 It is actually Steve Wilks, DB coach, if the Panthers let him walk and don't promote him to DC.... Or I did see this earlier: Sal Capaccio @SalSports 3h3 hours ago If Sean McDermott is new Bills HC, and it appears things are going in that direction keep hearing his new DC is http://tinyurl.com/gqy5gng Wow, hope it's true.
DallasMac Posted January 11, 2017 Posted January 11, 2017 Maybe he has his newspaper and is headed to the bathroom? Hahaha. As frustrating as this place can be to read sometimes, a lot of y'all really crack me up.
Reed83HOF Posted January 11, 2017 Author Posted January 11, 2017 FML this saga.... John Wawrow @john_wawrow 2m2 minutes ago Per AP source familiar with discussions: #Bills scheduled to have 2nd interview with McDermott on Wednesday.
eball Posted January 11, 2017 Posted January 11, 2017 So they're going to Charlotte this morning to seal the deal. Get 'er done so we can get a staff and start the business of figuring out how else to screw things up.
John from Riverside Posted January 11, 2017 Posted January 11, 2017 https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=bLZky9aMQTg A completely off topic not related to the OP topic at all..... I spent a solid hour talking to that actor tied to that couch on a small short film production. He is a articulate and educated dude and enjoyed my time talking to him.
rayray808 Posted January 11, 2017 Posted January 11, 2017 McDermott as Head Coach McCoy as OC trade the 10 to San Diego for Phillip Rivers Super Bowl
John from Riverside Posted January 11, 2017 Posted January 11, 2017 McDermott as Head Coach McCoy as OC trade the 10 to San Diego for Phillip Rivers Super Bowl it might actually take more then that My question is......how many good years do we figure River's has left.....(or Brees)
mob16151 Posted January 11, 2017 Posted January 11, 2017 Stat of the millennium: The Bills have never hired a head coach whose last name starts with M that didn't quit the job. Wow. Ugh.
Beef Jerky Posted January 11, 2017 Posted January 11, 2017 He called it in the Shoutbox and the McDermott thread Well I will say for the first time hats off to Leroi

That's really cool you spent some time with Don Moffat. Yeah kinda off topic but half the thread is. Just showing my frustration
Beef Jerky Posted January 11, 2017 Posted January 11, 2017 So his defense is it difficult or is he a "place the guys in the right spot" and make sure everyone does their job.

Uffalo Ills Posted January 11, 2017 Posted January 11, 2017 We are totally keeping Gilmore then, right? Carolina didnt keep Norman.. Hey that's very true actually Tyrod > Tebow anyway by a long shot. Running, passing and executing. Thank You, been saying for awhile Polian is massive overrated as a GM. The Hall Of Fame disagrees. I think they release Tyrod and eat the 2.8 mil dead cap, if nobody signs him he could always be resigned cheap if the team wanted to. I am not 100% sold on And Qb besides Watson this draft and no way he would fall to 10. Yeahhhhhh hate to break your bubble, but Osweiler is a way worse QB than Tyrod and he got scooped up and paid $70mil to play for the Texans. No way in hell that Tyrod goes unsigned. Watson won't fall to 10 for the same reason Tyrod won't have a million and one teams lined up outside his agent's office as soon as we drop his option.
purple haze Posted January 11, 2017 Posted January 11, 2017 Ok then i am fine with it based on earlier "reports" Whaley didnt like him First reports I saw last week were that Whaley liked McDermott but the Pegula's were still enamored with A. Lynn.
P51 Posted January 11, 2017 Posted January 11, 2017 McDermott as Head Coach McCoy as OC trade the 10 to San Diego for Phillip Rivers Super Bowl I'd do it...
NickelCity Posted January 11, 2017 Posted January 11, 2017 (edited) He didn't want to move to LA from San Diego, why would he even consider buffalo. That he didn't want to move to LA might not be indicative of a total resistance to moving. LA is not exactly a great town. That said I think somehow managing to land Rivers is an absolute pipe dream. cale Posted January 11, 2017 Posted January 11, 2017 Personally, I think we're McF**ked. We're aiming for the 20 yr drought.
QB Bills Posted January 11, 2017 Posted January 11, 2017 I'd like to officially patent McBurnIt, McDammit, McDrought, McDormant, McKermit (if he has a funny voice), McFu**it, McPuntIt and lastly McDoneIt (for when he takes us to the playoffs).
