Prickly Pete Posted January 24, 2017 Posted January 24, 2017 @adamcaplanNFL #Eagles have strong interest in #Bills WRs coach Sanjay Lal, sources said. He would fit experienced coach that they're looking for. Keep us posted, I'm on pins and needles about this one. Sandy Lol has been my favorite TE coach for a long time.
Uffalo Ills Posted January 24, 2017 Posted January 24, 2017 Our receivers (including Sammy) seem to like and respect Sanjay. That's why we should keep him.
What a Tuel Posted January 24, 2017 Posted January 24, 2017 (edited) Sammy don't know what his mindset would be? That is not a really strong statement for Sammy's mental health. We invested a lot in him and he has not yet proven he is worth it on the field. He is hardly in a position to make such a statement. OK now all the Sammy apologist could attack me. Mental health? Could it possibly be as simple as Watkins not knowing his mindset if his WR coach leaves? Like glad he got a job somewhere, but damn it sucks he left. You know conflicted, like a normal person. You make it sound like he thinks he will have a mental breakdown or something. That said, Sammy has proven he is worth it on the field absolutely. Just hasn't been on the field enough. ganesh Posted January 24, 2017 Posted January 24, 2017 Seriously, when was the last time a Bills coach cast-off did anything in the NFL? Doug Morrone became a NFL Head Coach Again !!!!
Tsaikotic Posted January 24, 2017 Posted January 24, 2017 Bob Grotz @BobGrotz #Eagles hire Virginia quarterback to coach receivers receivers coach http://www.delcotimes.com/article/DC/20170123/SPORTS/170129850 … via @delcotimes Mike Grohl to coach Eagles WR's
HT02 Posted January 24, 2017 Posted January 24, 2017 He seems to have done a good job with the WR's I hope the Bills retain him
Manther Posted January 24, 2017 Posted January 24, 2017 Don't the Eagles realize that signing Bills players and hiring our former coaches is not the recipe for success? Right?!
jjmac Posted January 25, 2017 Posted January 25, 2017 http://www.espn.com/espn/now?nowId=21-0615940671483679751-4 Any ideas for a WR coach?
YoloinOhio Posted January 25, 2017 Author Posted January 25, 2017 @adamschefter Colts have hired former Bills WR coach Sanjay Lal as their wide receivers coach.
Marty McFly Posted January 25, 2017 Posted January 25, 2017 damn. that sucks considering Watkins endorsement. Someone call up Andre Reed maybe he can teach the team how to play with heart and not 2nd and Pu$$y
YoloinOhio Posted January 25, 2017 Author Posted January 25, 2017 http://po.st/scms/OrMCe04Lcp0lOFmbgsc51Ov3I1KYQLx66RAjUma9oEoKOXiPgyAwF-cllzBCIEqIHS0K6vr_5bQlOAo/Ythfte bills could have retained him if they wanted to, guess he wanted to leave and Bills let him out of his contract
uticaclub Posted January 25, 2017 Posted January 25, 2017 http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2017/01/25/colts-hire-sanjay-lal-as-wide-receivers-coach/ This won't make Sammy happy. A QB who struggles at throwing the ball and taking away his favorite coach, he gone... Is he allowed to not accept the 5th year option?
Miyagi-Do Karate Posted January 25, 2017 Posted January 25, 2017 I am amazed at the number of Sanjay Lal threads.
jeffismagic Posted January 25, 2017 Posted January 25, 2017 Well, this was dumb. Sammy loved him and we need to do everything we can to keep him happy since we aren't getting a QB for him anytime soon.
Saxum Posted January 25, 2017 Posted January 25, 2017 (edited) Only WR of consequence Sammy Watson will not be happy unless they replace him with someone he likes better. Not really understand replacing of coaches (i.e. Krammer, Sanjay Lai). @adamschefterColts have hired former Bills WR coach Sanjay Lal as their wide receivers coach. as you saw often - posted already use the search function: http://forums.twobillsdrive.com/topic/191842-it-looks-like-lal-is-going-to-indy/ Edited January 25, 2017 by Koolaid
The Big Cat Posted January 25, 2017 Posted January 25, 2017 Sammy has been one of the most outspoken champions for personal accountability. I highly doubt this impacts his approach/efficacy.
FireChan Posted January 25, 2017 Posted January 25, 2017 Sammy has been one of the most outspoken champions for personal accountability. I highly doubt this impacts his approach/efficacy. He's also been the most outspoken about how coaches are responsible for holding players accountable.
Boatdrinks Posted January 25, 2017 Posted January 25, 2017 He's also been the most outspoken about how coaches are responsible for holding players accountable. Which they are... some guys will not fall in line as easily as others.
