Kelly the Dog Posted January 10, 2017 Posted January 10, 2017 Todd Downing, QB coach for Raiders. Word is he's in process of being promoted to their new OC (musgrave's contract not renewed) Pete Carroll.
YoloinOhio Posted January 10, 2017 Author Posted January 10, 2017 Pete Carroll. Saw this today haha This Week In 1995: Jets owner Leon Hess fires Pete Carroll after one season as coach (6-10) for Rich Kotite.
Mr. WEO Posted January 10, 2017 Posted January 10, 2017 With regards to Sammy, fans love to demand honesty, and hate it when we get it. By this logic, what player is more "honest" than OBJ? Kid wears his heart on his sleeve, no?
FireChan Posted January 10, 2017 Posted January 10, 2017 With regards to Sammy, fans love to demand honesty, and hate it when we get it. I've never heard anyone complain about Sammy's canned answers. Ever.
Saint Doug Posted January 10, 2017 Posted January 10, 2017 Wade Phillips won the last Super Bowl as DC. True. He's been the most accomplished coach (although not HC) we've had in the last 30 years.
Kelly the Dog Posted January 10, 2017 Posted January 10, 2017 By this logic, what player is more "honest" than OBJ? Kid wears his heart on his sleeve, no? Punching a wall isn't being honest. It's being stupid.
YoloinOhio Posted January 10, 2017 Author Posted January 10, 2017 Punching a wall isn't being honest. It's being stupid.he just needed his binky
1st&ten Posted January 10, 2017 Posted January 10, 2017 True. He's been the most accomplished coach (although not HC) we've had in the last 30 years. Good, take a draft pick for compensation.
26CornerBlitz Posted January 11, 2017 Posted January 11, 2017 @mikerodak Bills WRs coach Sanjay Lal is interviewing today in Philadelphia for Eagles' WRs coach job, sources tell @caplannfl.
26CornerBlitz Posted January 23, 2017 Posted January 23, 2017 @JeffSkversky OFFICIAL: Eagles agree to terms with Mike Groh to become the team's new wide receivers coach #FlyEaglesFly
NoSaint Posted January 23, 2017 Posted January 23, 2017 seems like he might actually stick here... maybe... its hard to figure what to make of our passing attack but he seems well liked by a group that wanted discipline so that seems positive.

NoSaint Posted January 23, 2017 Posted January 23, 2017 3rd team in 4 years, 4th team in 7. is that a strike against him in your book? we are his 3rd as a WR dating back to 2009 if he sticks (raiders, jets, here). that he bounced from the jets to here isnt any kind of knock as position coaches tend to follow a coaching tree and not stick in a franchise....

Eagles make 4 since his last season with the Raiders. Not a strike, per se, but he's been passed around the league a bit for a young guy. 3 teams HC's coming in thought he wasn't worth keeping, no?

And I think these guys move more than you'd think if the head coach gets canned.
Saint Doug Posted January 24, 2017 Posted January 24, 2017 @JeffSkversky OFFICIAL: Eagles agree to terms with Mike Groh to become the team's new wide receivers coach #FlyEaglesFly Somewhere Sammy just breathed a huge sigh of relief.
Boatdrinks Posted January 24, 2017 Posted January 24, 2017 I've never heard anyone complain about Sammy's canned answers. Ever. You haven't been perusing this board thoroughly enough. They're out there.
Ed_Formerly_of_Roch Posted January 24, 2017 Posted January 24, 2017 I'd think by now either they plan to keep him or would have already given him his release.
Mr. WEO Posted January 24, 2017 Posted January 24, 2017 I'd think by now either they plan to keep him or would have already given him his release. His sweet release?
