Dragonborn10 Posted January 10, 2017 Posted January 10, 2017 Move Glenn to RT, sign a mid-level WR, draft Howard at 10. Then defense and a QB project. Flame away Better yet trade back and take Howard at 15-17. Add a pick to rebuild the secondary.
HumbleAndHungry Posted January 10, 2017 Posted January 10, 2017 I like oj but think we have more pressing needs to address in round 1
Kirby Jackson Posted January 10, 2017 Posted January 10, 2017 I wouldn't hate it because we need another pass catcher. It's a little unconventional but the Pats play 2 tight ends.
KD in CA Posted January 10, 2017 Posted January 10, 2017 A TE at #10? When we already have a TE costing several million a year that no one can get the ball to? Good grief, that would really push me over the edge.
KollegeStudnet Posted January 10, 2017 Posted January 10, 2017 Yes! Run a two-TE set and do damage down the field. Howard is a talent that doesn't come around that much.
VaMilBill Posted January 10, 2017 Posted January 10, 2017 I would rather take Mike Williams at 10, then grab Evan Engram from ole miss in the second. Grab a safety in the third. You instantly have great specialists that any QB could throw to. Then we draft a QB next year if Cardale doesn't improve.

But if he is there at ten, they should ransom that pick by moving down a few spots, getting a second, and a number one next year
Webster Guy Posted January 10, 2017 Posted January 10, 2017 He screwed up big time on that screen play grabbing the ball in front of the rb instead of looking to get downfield and block for him. Could have cost them the play of the game. Lets never draft a TE or RB in the 1st round. I liked that mike williams kid. Tough bastard too.

#34fan Posted January 10, 2017 Posted January 10, 2017 (edited) Gotta be... -If it ain't O.J., it's Corey Davis if he's still on the board... ( He won't be) Edited January 10, 2017 by #34fan
Buffalo Barbarian Posted January 10, 2017 Posted January 10, 2017 he has tons of talent but has disappeared in most games, just don't see him as a game breaker. 2nd rounder.
Blokestradamus Posted January 10, 2017 Posted January 10, 2017 he has tons of talent but has disappeared in most games, just don't see him as a game breaker. 2nd rounder. I think it's more to do with the fact that Lane Kiffin is an idiot that forgets that OJ exists than anything else. He's been decent when they remember that he's alive. That said, we aren't drafting a backup tight end at #10

billsfan89 Posted January 10, 2017 Posted January 10, 2017 (edited) Take the best player available, tight end we could use depth but Clay is a more than capable tight end so finding a starter isn't a "Need" there but if Howard is the best player at that spot then you always draft talent. Personally I would like to find other positions but more weapons to the offense isn't bad. Edited January 10, 2017 by billsfan89
Coach Tuesday Posted January 10, 2017 Posted January 10, 2017 (edited) It's a very deep draft for tight ends, meaning you're better off looking for one in the second or third round or later. And **&%& it all - DRAFT A QB ALREADY. Edited January 10, 2017 by Coach Tuesday
