TheFunPolice Posted January 9, 2017 Posted January 9, 2017 (edited) Let's be honest: this league is more fun when Doug Marrone is a head coach. Odd coincidence: the last two Bills head coaches to QUIT both later were named head coaches in Jacksonville. Edited January 9, 2017 by TheFunPolice
Virgil Posted January 9, 2017 Author Posted January 9, 2017 Until they get into the playoffs before us
TheFunPolice Posted January 9, 2017 Posted January 9, 2017 Best division to be a HC in all of football At 6-10 you're right in the mix for a home playoff game
aristocrat Posted January 9, 2017 Posted January 9, 2017 how? why? it's like the opposite of what you should do
MDH Posted January 9, 2017 Posted January 9, 2017 One of the selling points of the Bills HC job to first time HCs is that once you move on to another job in 2-3 years it wont preclude you from getting another opportunity down the road.
Heitz Posted January 9, 2017 Posted January 9, 2017 Does this mean their HC search was a sham!? Dumpster fire!
ndirish1978 Posted January 9, 2017 Posted January 9, 2017 I decided long ago to despise this man without any information to back up my decision beyond the fact that he quit on the team. I stand by my decision

FireChan Posted January 9, 2017 Posted January 9, 2017 Hey Kelly, how offended is he about Coughlin being interviewed? Must be really tough on him.
Fadingpain Posted January 9, 2017 Posted January 9, 2017 Does this mean their HC search was a sham!? Dumpster fire! It means old Doug's plan worked out well in the end. Took the $4 million (?) and ran away to live and fight another day. Easy division, no Belichick or Brady in it, nice weather... Of course now Doug has to actually win football games or he'll be out of another job. There's the rub!
MDH Posted January 9, 2017 Posted January 9, 2017 (edited) *Note: Opportunity only exists with Jacksonville. And the Titans. The only first time head coach that's moved on since the drought who hasn't gotten another head coaching opportunity is Greg Williams. And we all know why that is. Edited January 9, 2017 by MDH
ndirish1978 Posted January 9, 2017 Posted January 9, 2017 Obviously his plan to move was based on analytics. You wouldn't believe what he can do with some analytics.
Heitz Posted January 9, 2017 Posted January 9, 2017 Also, my apologies, not sure how my response to a thread titled "St Doug officially head coach in Jax" wasn't: Obviously.
GunnerBill Posted January 9, 2017 Posted January 9, 2017 (edited) He will do okay. He is an arse of a man but he is not a bad Head Coach. I think he is the best we have had in the drought. Edited January 9, 2017 by GunnerBill

He got some wins with QBs named Orton and Manuel over here. Seems to have a better QB situation in Jax
Jauronimo Posted January 9, 2017 Posted January 9, 2017 Say what you want about St. Doug but the man knows how to hire a DC.
Fadingpain Posted January 9, 2017 Posted January 9, 2017 Watch! At the hiring PC Doug will make some convoluted connection between his upbringing in NYC and northern FL. "Growing up in the Bronx, my neighbor's friend's aunt lived in Jacksonville. I practically grew up here!"
