26CornerBlitz Posted January 9, 2017 Author Posted January 9, 2017 Except that they are being accepted Except they aren't winners or losers as it stands now. They're mired in mediocrity.
MAJBobby Posted January 9, 2017 Posted January 9, 2017 Why do people care about an end of season presser that is just going to be full of canned answers anyway. It is a waste of time and doesn't give any real information.
dezertbill Posted January 9, 2017 Posted January 9, 2017 Winning press conferences is like winning preseasons.
#34fan Posted January 9, 2017 Posted January 9, 2017 I heard Harbaugh talking directly about having more big plays, and shorter drives... THIS MAN GETS IT!
MAJBobby Posted January 9, 2017 Posted January 9, 2017 Did they mention they need to get better. No **** glad we had a press conference to tell the fans that
Hapless Bills Fan Posted January 9, 2017 Posted January 9, 2017 Seems like the issue for the Bills is that Terry Pegula is not interested in the "face of the franchise" ownership responsibilities. Which is fine, but then he needs someone who will take on that role. The current setup is not doing anyone any favors. As long as Pegula is making "executive decisions" about major football operations issues, no one really can take on the "face of the franchise" role for him. There will always be questions the spokesperson can't really answer, not having been "privy to the conversation". In an ideal world they should be able to provide more information than Whaley did, but no one can fully substitute for the guy really "stopping the buck" IMHO the problem isn't so much that Pegula is not interested in the "face of the franchise" responsibilities, it's that he's interested in making "executive decisions" about major football operations issues WHILE being disinterested in being the "face of the franchise" responsibilities. If you want to cook, be willing to take on the heat of the kitchen.
