B-lo Snow Posted September 5, 2004 Posted September 5, 2004 Most teams only have one undrafted guy make the team at most......... kind of interesting........ should just draft all tennessee players next year
BillsGuyInMalta Posted September 5, 2004 Posted September 5, 2004 Wish that I was on ol' Rocky Top, down in the Tennessee hills...ain't no smoggy smoke on Rocky Top, aint no telephone bills... Hooray for Rocky Top, Tennessee!
Crows57 Posted September 5, 2004 Posted September 5, 2004 A couple factors come in to play: 1. The Bills had fewer picks this year with the trade for JP and the 6th rounder that was traded to Cleveland so there were more chances for the undrafted players to make it. 2. The Bills under TD have always seemed to favor rookies making the roster. It seems like they perfer to see rookies for a year when they aren't sure what they'll get out of them over what they do know from players that have been around for a season or two. Said another way, they keep the player they think has more upside. For example the Bills kept Sobieski and Sape in previous years, but now they cut those 2 for players like McFarland and Ritzmann.
Coach Tuesday Posted September 5, 2004 Posted September 5, 2004 That's a matter of economics - go with the cheaper asset of equal risk.
