Maury Ballstein
So who are these pro-style QB who can use the whole field that will be in the 2017 draft? This is the main one. 1min50sec Mark of video is everything Tyrod isn't. Will be deadly w McCoy. Watson is the other and many bright posters here are high on Maholmes fwiw. Coach Tuesday
This is the main one. Watson is the other and many bright posters here are high on Maholmes fwiw. I would trade a boatload of picks to move up and grab him. It's time to find a franchise QB, or die trying.
Wayne Arnold
BS. The Bills beat one .500+ team this season - the Patriots who started an injured 3rd string QB. Taylor is a big part of the reason why, I'm not putting it all on him (or any QB) to carry the team to a SB, but he should be able to help them get there and not hold the team back. If Taylor has proven anything these last two seasons, it's that he doesn't hold the team back. If you can't see that then you're blind.

He has no ceiling and his floor is Tannenhill imoIf Taylor has proven anything these last two seasons, it's that he doesn't hold the team back. Quit blocking those out because he played a good game vs the fins. Edited January 7, 2017 by Ryan L Billz

That doesn't mean he's incapable of being the quarterback of a Super Bowl team. We saw what a quarterback and offense who's "holding the team back" look like. 2013 and 2014. Taylor has led this offense to back-to-back Top 10 seasons.
Big Gun
His floor is Bortles. Looks great, the only thing I could see there was no under center, it was all shotgun. How is is 3 step, 5 step, 7 step and out?
Maury Ballstein
Why wouldn't the Browns take him? 49ers? Jets? I'm all for it if he falls or the bills swing some trades, but I don't see why the Browns wouldn't take him if he's that good. Only started one year. So many blue chippers at DE/S Might take first few picks up. Trade up a la Sammy and get him imo. Looks great, the only thing I could see there was no under center, it was all shotgun. How is is 3 step, 5 step, 7 step and out? Have to ask blokes, gunner, and bandit in the draft thread. They can help w that. I just see a stud every Saturday when I watch my heels. I think the Bills make some sort of package deal that includes M Gillislee(that dude is good) to try and move up for Trubisky. If that's their plan. aristocrat
to get trubinsky you'd have to give up the 10 pick and the next two first for him to cleveland to start.

aristocrat
you'd have to jump in front of san fran, jets, and chicago. the usual trade up involves the next years first and a 2nd from either that year or the following year. the clean 10 pick and next 2 first is probably what gets it done. i would not add in any 2nds. To trade up for a QB it will be the 10th pick, a 2018 1st and a 2nd rounder. Something like that is the going rate. We saw it twice last year. I'd much prefer to go the other way this year and trade 10 for a 2018 1st and get another 2nd this year. The QBs are in 2018 not 2017. Let's not make the same mistake that we made in 2013, trying to draft a QB in a bad QB draft. Edited January 7, 2017 by Kirby Jackson
TANK2
I've seen a lot of this crap, too. The defense was very average - 15th in yards/game and 16th in points per game. They weren't what they were two seasons ago and they weren't what Rex told us we'd get, but they weren't nearly the biggest issue on the team. It wasn't the 1st ranked run offense either. My guess at what held the Bills back most in 2016 was their 31st ranked passing offense. Specials didn't help either. They where seventh in the league in scoring after week 15. Passing yards are not nearly as relevant as points scored. Edited January 7, 2017 by TANK2

The offense certainly held up their end of the bargain. They put up plenty of points. The defense couldn't get big stops. The FO rankings of offense and defense are posted somewhere in this thread. The specialists (outside of state) were atrocious. Carpenter and Schmidt had awful years. Even with as bad as the defense was, they could have been a playoff team if they made a few key kicks. Kirby Jackson
To be fair, we did trade back in 2013, and picked up Kiko/Shady in the process. Yeah, I'm advocating for trading back. The point was you don't draft a QB in a bad QB draft because you have to have a QB. You try to get great QBs not available ones.
