Is TT teachable?

Why couldn't you run a hurry up or two minute offense?

Did TT audible?

Why was Watkins not targeted like a #1?

Can TT read defenses?

Were all plays called from the sidelines? When were plays changed

Why was Watkins 90 % of the time lined up on the sideline and seldom the slot?

Was it your plan to rank 28-30th in passing 2 straight years?

Is there a game plan to throw for 300 yards in any playbook? We know there is one to throw for 120 & lose?

To find the answers to some of these we need to look at alex smith and kaps stats at SF while they were under Greg Roman. That will tell us a lot about the passing game and wether it was TT, the injuries to our WRs, or by playbook design.

And not sure as to the answers, however these are straightforward questions that are never asked or answered. The difference in Buffalo is there is stud WR who is not targeted, the eye test tells you they can't play hurry up or two-minute offense and 300 yards is never ever contemplated up/down or in a tie game.

A couple of these (particularly about whether we think TT is teachable and can still develop) could have been asked to Doug on Monday if the Buffalo media pack had not spent al 40 minutes crawling over who said what to who and when before they fired a Head Coach that they (the media pack) all agreed should be fired.

The rest are really questions to ask the Head Coach and the Head Coach has been fired. They only remain relevant if they promote Lynn, though some could be adapted whoever is the new HC - "will you move Sammy around?" and "will you ensure he gets 8-10 targets every game as a minimum?" for example.

Right..... These are not difficult questions and should have been asked umpteen times over the last two years.

Questions in a presser.

"What is happening in the two-minute offense where it appears the team is not getting the plays off in a timely manner"

"We don't see the team playing up-tempo. Can you explain why?"

"OBJ is targeted 10-12X's/game regardless, hwy isn't Watkins?".......

Is he teachable? It's impossible to know if someone is actually trying to teach him anything.

The Bills "hurry up", if you can even call it that is more like a 4-5 minute offense. They didn't appear to effectively run a two minute offense in two years.

TT almost never audibled. Maybe it was by design.

Watkins was injured much of the year and the Bills passed less than any team in the NFL. They're simply not a passing team.

TT cannot read defenses. It's doubtful he could read Dr. Seuss books.

Plays were called from the sidelines and seldom changed.

Watkins was outside because TT just doesn't seem to see the middle of the field. Why would you line up your best receiver where your QB isn't going to see them.

I believe their plan was to be a run-first/ball control team for the past 2 years, and they were. They led the NFL in rushing both years.

No plan for 300 yards passing. They planned to lose every game and just happened to win 7. Oops.

Many of these you can answer yourself by watching the games.

None of it matters now, as you won't see Tyrod play for the Bills again.

This is a good point. But then the question is, can Lynn design a better passing attack? Given his background, it's hard to imagine the answer is yes.

It's great to have a running game however without any passing game you just can not succeed.

I think the Bills can add, just refuse to and we're completely unprepared at any point to even try.

Heck even when they had some success they would revert.

The eye test clearly shows that he is not a legitimate passer in this league. Also, he has proven incapable of coming back from any sort of deficit in quarter four.

These questions have been answered by him on the field already.

I think both OCs got the most out of him and we have seen his ceiling.

Can you imagine him in a playoff game, with game on the line , 2 minutes and 80 yards to go?

TT says he's agreeable to change the terms of the deal. IF that's true, change the terms, sign him, and get on with life.

He's open to discussing it. The details of the changes matter quite a bit, though.

Ok, but let's drill down even further.... The people who thought Tyrod was a starter in the first place ARE NO LONGER HERE! -Rex, and Roman were either wrong or COMPLETELY CLUELESS about a host of other things too...

TT should be kept here.. -As a BACKUP!.... It's what he's been ever since leaving VT.

The Buffalo news asking a football related question of any kind would be refreshing. Tying to figure out what you do for a living sums up perfectly the thought process and attitude at the news

"Is there something in the water in this building to make you guys so stupid?"

"How does it feel to know that most fans would make better decisions than you guys have the past 5 years?"

Reporter in the back, "I have one for Doug..... Why are you still here?"

You should work for Buffalo News writing questions for Sullivan and Bucky.

I think he can but he will need to be willing to find a OC who adds to his knowledge.

He was a RB so RB is his primary knowledge but there are coaches who have not played a down and can coach so that does not necessarily limit him.

A stud receiver???? Well, not this year. A stud who couldn't do the cut moves because it hurt to much.....and, likely, should not have been out there at all. He wasn't healthy, and A Lynn knew it. He did come back and play with the pain, but his best moves were not available. So, the stud was really more average when he was on the field at all. So, the targeting arguments do not apply imho.

honestly, that would be pretty cool if media could ask questions like that, and actually get answers even!
