ChevyVanMiller Posted January 5, 2017 Posted January 5, 2017 (edited) Maybe they should flip a coin to decide who the next head coach should be. http://www.buffalorumblings.com/2017/1/5/14175822/bills-set-coin-toss-record-in-2016?_ga=1.25968633.57934352.1471000591 Edited January 5, 2017 by ChevyVanMiller
Bob in Mich Posted January 5, 2017 Posted January 5, 2017 Yessss! I knew all along that we were really good
ndirish1978 Posted January 5, 2017 Posted January 5, 2017 We won this offseason and now this?! I don't understand why Rex was fired, we are clearly establishing a winning tradition here!
plenzmd1 Posted January 5, 2017 Posted January 5, 2017 Maybe they should flip a coin to decide who the next head coach should be. http://www.buffalorumblings.com/2017/1/5/14175822/bills-set-coin-toss-record-in-2016?_ga=1.25968633.57934352.1471000591 Funny..i always think winning the coin toss such a huge advantage...and yes, i could not believe how many times they won it this year, even as it was happening. Funny thing is it hurt the Bill sin a couple games, as Rex would go all kinds of conservative as he was getting the ball back to start the 3rd and not try to score.
entropyrules Posted January 5, 2017 Posted January 5, 2017 obviously there must be a "coin conspiracy" as Whaley or Brandon managed to sub in a trick coin
Chandler#81 Posted January 5, 2017 Posted January 5, 2017 Its odd and dumb, to be sure, but it gave us choice of wind direction and of having the ball to start the 2nd half most games. NE always seem to do this. To me, is yet another 'shoulda' this season -including soft schedule- and STILL couldn't get it done. I disagree with Whaley on this point: We AREN'T close..
ndirish1978 Posted January 5, 2017 Posted January 5, 2017 What is Doug Whaley's role in calling the flip, that's what I want to know. How could he not care if it's heads or tails?!
hondo in seattle Posted January 5, 2017 Posted January 5, 2017 That was uncanny. Even though the odds never veered from 50-50, I started expecting the Bills to win the coin toss. Who says we're a cursed team?
The Wiz Posted January 5, 2017 Posted January 5, 2017 At least they're good at something football related.
DC Tom Posted January 5, 2017 Posted January 5, 2017 I remember when the Patriots had a ridiculous string of coin toss wins, and everyone was convinced Belichick was somehow cheating... I still am, in fact.
2003Contenders Posted January 5, 2017 Posted January 5, 2017 This actually brings up a good point that I did not see anyone elaborate on... Rex always chose to defer when winning the coin toss. This past Sunday Lynn decided to receive the kickoff rather than defer. Hmmmm.
Luxy312 Posted January 5, 2017 Posted January 5, 2017 Awesome. Now I can put an ashtray on my motorcycle, which will be about as useful to winning games. LOL.
baskingridgebillsfan Posted January 5, 2017 Posted January 5, 2017 waiting on the Buffalo news article on how this was a disaster
