There is an inherent unfairness in sex work that favors female sex workers over straight male sex workers. It is a known fact that males cannot perform as often as females. While a female can go on and on (much as she can as if she was in an argument with her husband) a male will throw in a towel and beg for a recovery period. This relegates the male sex worker to performing cunning linguist, otherwise known as oral sex, which doesn't pay as much as other sexual acts. Not only do those acts not pay as much but they can occasionally leave a bad taste in the sex worker's mouth. I propose that if sex work becomes legal then males get a subsidy to even the field out with the female sex worker. It would be called the TIP (Tongues Instead of *****) ACT.

Teen Vogue?????  :wallbash:

That's what made me do a double take.

The story is fine, the subject matter can be/should be covered... but why put it in teen vogue? Looking to inspire young women to turn to that life? I mean... it's just nutty all around.

@ELINTNews also got clipped.

At least the @HeshmatAlavi account has been restored for now.

I got to catch up with a European friend over the last week who may or may not be spooky. Their focus/expertise is Iran and I asked about the Intercept's story on Heshmat (because honestly, it wouldn't shock me to learn that his account was a group). They laughed and said it was nonsense, at least in the way the Intercept framed it.

State Department identifies 23 violations, 'multiple security incidents' concerning Clinton emails

The State Department revealed Monday that it has identified "multiple security incidents" involving current or former employees' handling of Hillary Clinton's emails, and that 23 "violations" and seven "infractions" have been issued as part of the department's ongoing investigation.

The information came in a letter to Iowa Republican Sen. Chuck Grassley, who is responsible for overseeing the security review.

"To this point, the Department has assessed culpability to 15 individuals, some of whom were culpable in multiple security incidents," Mary Elizabeth Taylor, the State Department's Assistant Secretary in the Bureau of Legislative Affairs, wrote to Grassley. "DS has issued 23 violations and 7 infractions incidents. ... This number will likely change as the review progresses."

The State Department, calling the matter "serious," said it expected to conclude the investigation by Sept. 1. The department acknowledged that the probe was unusually time-consuming.

Seven of those fifteen have already died in mysterious circumstances.

Wouldn't surprise me.

One was actually found, shot five times, stabbed, drowned, and then hanged.  He was found with half a bumper sticker in his hand saying "I'm Wit...," and lime green fibers were found at the scene consistent with a cheap polyester pantsuit.

Police have ruled it an accidental death.
