USN airworthiness of tactical aircraft is at 39% from what I've heard, the goal in the cold war was 90%. USMC air wings are under 20%. If/when people realize what's been done, systematically, to weaken this country's military assets and capabilities by past administrations... it's treason of the highest order. This plane had been retired and was on what the air force refers to as it's "bone yard run". After a plane has been taken out of use, it is flown to it's final destination for disassembly. It's a practice that has long been at issue for the crews that are tasked with manning the plane for it's final flight, who have asserted that these planes are dangerous, too dangerous to fly, and should simply be disassembled and shipped. In this instance they proved correct, as 5 national guardsmen died on this flight.

No one should have to fly on a bone yard run when we spend over 600 billion a year on defense/military. They absolutely need to start being disassembled and shipped. Any truth to the rumor that the Heinrich maneuver is best employed when your nation is being choked out by it's Judenfrage? Would pulling back troops, spending less on secret black projects and refraining from destroying nations only to spend trillions building them back up cover the added expense? gatorbait
Disassembling and shipping the parts by freight or cargo ship doesn’t seem like it would be all that expensive. It’s not a good look when our military planes fall out of the sky and kill nine people.

It’s not a good look when our military planes fall out of the sky and kill nine people. It's the result of a looooong term strategy. * Weaken our domestic manufacturing and steel base, requiring our military to outsource more foreign steel and contractors to build our weapons of war. * The new contractors, in turn, use shoddier material than the US standard, creating incredibly expensive weapons of war that all have fatal flaws and are built with sub-par material. * Drag the public morale through the mud with nearly two decades of endless war against "terrorists" in the ME, further weakening our fighting capability by causing the loss of life of our servicemen and women in training accidents (due to faulty equipment) or combat after scaling back the physical requirements of the service in the name of equality and gender neutral standards. * Then, when the time is right... say 2017 in Syria... strike a match to ignite WW3 and watch American military might crumble from the inside out, causing the empire to fall once and for all. Brought to you by successive administrations since 1992... ******************************************************************* Separate thought... something else we've covered for a few months is now becoming public: https://www.thedailybeast.com/the-green-berets-are-secretly-helping-saudis-fight-yemen-rebels-report (It's not just the Green Berets) ******************************************************************* One more separate thought: https://www.theguardian.com/world/2018/may/03/montreal-brainwashing-allan-memorial-institute (Think they really stopped this in the 70s?) Greg, this time it's not. This was a cargo plane whose only use at this time was domestic training operations. All it was used for was parachute training. And it was decommissioned because it was deemed to no longer be safe.

Deranged Rhino
I think it's at least suspicious that it was the same plane as this: The love of symbols and messaging being what it is.
