Section 702 of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) is a provision of law that allows the government to conduct mass surveillance of innocent people, including Americans. The Hill reminds readers that Congress is poised to jam through reauthorization of this mass surveillance: The Senate Select Committee on Intelligence has marked up the FISA Amendments Reauthorization Act, S. 2010. The bill, sponsored by Chairman Richard Burr (R-N.C.) is actually worse than existing law. It explicitly allows the attorney general to use [electronic communications] information collected under Section 702 for domestic crimes that have nothing to do with national security and forbids judicial review of that decision. The idea of walling off such action from judicial review ought to put a scare into anyone. Moreover: The House version of the USA Liberty Act, for instance, has a weak warrant requirement, which would allow the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) to conduct backdoor searches of electronic communications collected by the NSA for domestic, non-terrorism investigations. Not saying I buy it, but answering your question: There are a lot of unsubstantiated rumors that there have been several major indictments of politicians which are being kept under wraps while an entire network is swept up. Those same people are pointing to the sudden uptick in walking boots on certain people as proof (like you said, the idea is the boots are hiding the ankle bracelets). That McCain switched legs for his boot, when it's supposedly for a torn achilles tendon, really gave this particular theory a boost. The idea is that he was forced to switch legs with both the boot and the ankle monitor precisely to get people's attention focused on this. The booms heard around the world, with a major uptick recently, is much more fascinating to me. There are other less interesting explanations for these booms, but the two I come back to more often than not are planetary changes (possible) or the destruction/assault of D.U.M.B.s. Since the 1940s the MiC in conjunction with the USIC (and others depending on how wild you wish to get) has built out dozens of extensive deep underground military bases throughout the US and the world where they could do top secret research, weapons development etc all safe from the prying eyes of satellites and safe from nuclear attacks. Before you scoff this off as sci-fi, do some digging into D.U.M.B.s, if you do you'll see lots of FOIA documents showing at least some of these D.U.M.B.s were built (or attempted to be built). The idea with the booms, again this is speculative, is that what we're hearing is either the destruction/assault of some of these D.U.M.B.s. Is it true? (shrug) My speculation in the OP and for the past year and a half, has been that all the craziness we have seen the past year in politics, media, world events et al are being driven by an internal civil war waging behind the scenes. This civil war is between elements of the USIC, the MiC, and the transnational institutions which exert undue power and influence over us. There is a growing mountain of (real) evidence that makes this case - but if it's really happening then a lot of that battle would go on in realms we've been kept ignorant of (underground bases as well as space/moon/mars - but that's a different conversation) so I track these more fringe events as well. Not saying this is proof of anything - BUT: I chose to use the term Deep State in the OP over a year ago because, at the time, it was a little used term that wasn't as sensational as others. Now, it's EVERYWHERE. If you needed more evidence that we are in a period of awakening, the sudden explosion (and acceptance) of this term is a pretty amazing piece to consider... Carry on.
