Rico Posted January 4, 2017 Posted January 4, 2017 (edited) Congrats TO! Class of the field by far, this time for sure! Kevin Mawae WTF? Edited January 4, 2017 by Rico
LI_Bills Posted January 4, 2017 Posted January 4, 2017 Great players all. I'd put Boselli and Lynch towards the top and begrudgingly T.O. too Congrats TO! Class of the field by far, this time for sure! Kevin Mawae WTF? Mawae was a beast.
Over 29 years of fanhood Posted January 4, 2017 Posted January 4, 2017 LT was incredible for years. Gotta be a lock.
Rico Posted January 4, 2017 Posted January 4, 2017 Great players all. I'd put Boselli and Lynch towards the top and begrudgingly T.O. too Mawae was a beast. Hall-of-Famer?!?! Sorry Fezmid if you're out there, but maybe next year is Drew's time to shine.
ganesh Posted January 4, 2017 Posted January 4, 2017 Fairly weak class. Kurt Warner gets in this time as there is no competition. Now the WR log jam has cleared, it will also make way for TO. Others making in would be Lynch, Faneca, LT and Morten Anderson. Boselli like Davis will be hurt because of the smaller number of years in the league. Good luck to all these gr8 players.
KD in CA Posted January 4, 2017 Posted January 4, 2017 TO, Coryell, Fanaca and Tomlinson. Bruce is criminally underrated. He deserves enshrinement eventually though won't be this year.
Kirby Jackson Posted January 4, 2017 Posted January 4, 2017 LT, Warner, TO, Dawkins, Coryell, Lynch Faneca, Boselli and Davis are close too
LI_Bills Posted January 4, 2017 Posted January 4, 2017 Hall-of-Famer?!?! Sorry Fezmid if you're out there, but maybe next year is Drew's time to shine. Mawae deserves to be a finalist, but I didn't have him in. Titans/Ravens with Eddie George vs. Ray Lewis was a thing before Steelers/Ravens. Fairly weak class. I'm still scarred by Boselli shutting down Bruce Smith..that was enough for me.
LI_Bills Posted January 4, 2017 Posted January 4, 2017 LT was incredible for years. Gotta be a lock. My bad...at first glance I couldn't get past the Jets stench.
Rico Posted January 4, 2017 Posted January 4, 2017 LT will get in, but he would not have my vote... not after the AFC Championship game against the Pats when he no-showed in by far the biggest game of his career while his QB Rivers was a true warrior. I would vote Rivers in before him.
Mark Vader Posted February 4, 2017 Posted February 4, 2017 Haven't seen anyone bring this up, and the announcement is in a couple hours. So who do you think deserves to be in the Hall of Fame this year? My Picks: Ladainian Tomlinson Terrell Owens Tony Boselli Paul Tagliabue John Lynch
26CornerBlitz Posted February 5, 2017 Posted February 5, 2017 @terrellowens Unfortunately I DID NOT MAKE IT again this year. Thanks to ALL my fans & supporters. #FlawedProcess
26CornerBlitz Posted February 5, 2017 Posted February 5, 2017 @MikeKlis LaDainian Tomlinson, Terrell Davis both make it. First time two RBs elected on modern ballot since Sayers-Gifford in '77. #9sports
GunnerBill Posted February 5, 2017 Posted February 5, 2017 (edited) @terrellowens Unfortunately I DID NOT MAKE IT again this year. Thanks to ALL my fans & supporters. #FlawedProcess He does realise he needs these people to vote him in doesn't he?? He isn't helping himself. Edited February 5, 2017 by GunnerBill
26CornerBlitz Posted February 5, 2017 Posted February 5, 2017 He does realise he needs these people to vote him in doesn't he?? He isn't helping himself. TO has no filter. He's right and deserves to be in. @MichaelDavSmith Brian Dawkins and John Lynch were voted down by the Hall of Fame Selection Committee. Still a logjam at the safety position.
Kirby Jackson Posted February 5, 2017 Posted February 5, 2017 TO not getting in is a disgrace. With the exception of LT, he is historically better than TD and WAY more dominant than Taylor. He has every right to be upset.
YoloinOhio Posted February 5, 2017 Posted February 5, 2017 TO not getting in is a disgrace. With the exception of LT, he is historically better than TD and WAY more dominant than Taylor. He has every right to be upset.Randy Moss is up next year too. Will it be one or the other?
GunnerBill Posted February 5, 2017 Posted February 5, 2017 I know he deserves it... but the process is the process. The more he slags these people off the longer he waits.
