Chandler#81 Posted January 3, 2017 Posted January 3, 2017 I think he was done 2 years ago. We did right kicking him to the curb. Just wish Rex had done it mid-season last year.

BuffaloHokie13 Posted January 3, 2017 Posted January 3, 2017 just wonder if he will call it a career and retire or sign for a cheap deal somewhere for a year He'll go to the first team that offers him $10M. Or was that last year?
NoSaint Posted January 3, 2017 Posted January 3, 2017 i doubt he will play for cheap. hes made waaaaaay too much money to take the beating and seems to have plenty of outside interests. if he sticks around itll be a big payday (or a moderately large one late in the offseason if the right situation pops up as a rotational guy on a contender with a DC he likes)
klos63 Posted January 3, 2017 Posted January 3, 2017 just wonder if he will call it a career and retire or sign for a cheap deal somewhere for a year It would be hard to imagine him getting many offers. 2 terrible seasons in a row.
filthymcnasty08 Posted January 3, 2017 Posted January 3, 2017 Pretty selfish time to start that stuff Mario - but not at all surprising - with a playoff game coming up.
papazoid Posted January 3, 2017 Posted January 3, 2017 maybe he will move back to his home in orchard park http://www.zillow.com/homedetails/5-Woodcrest-Dr-Orchard-Park-NY-14127/66872753_zpid/
Offside Number 76 Posted January 3, 2017 Posted January 3, 2017 Pretty selfish time to start that stuff Mario - but not at all surprising - with a playoff game coming up. To start what stuff?
boyst Posted January 3, 2017 Posted January 3, 2017 just wonder if he will call it a career and retire or sign for a cheap deal somewhere for a yearif I'm Seattle, new england, Arizona i consider bringing him in as a situational guy. 15 snaps a game for $3mm?
dave mcbride Posted January 3, 2017 Posted January 3, 2017 He is completely done. He can't play at a high level anymore. Moreover, he is not going to get better. Only worse.
boyst Posted January 3, 2017 Posted January 3, 2017 i doubt he will play for cheap. hes made waaaaaay too much money to take the beating and seems to have plenty of outside interests. if he sticks around itll be a big payday (or a moderately large one late in the offseason if the right situation pops up as a rotational guy on a contender with a DC he likes)he still does a lot for the city of Houston. I won't soon forget that he bought a bunch of patrol cars for the police dept and some vests for the dogs. JJ Watt don't do that
filthymcnasty08 Posted January 3, 2017 Posted January 3, 2017 (edited) To start what stuff? My bad - misread that...thought it was Mario asking to be cut in the offseason. Edited January 3, 2017 by filthymcnasty08
26CornerBlitz Posted January 3, 2017 Posted January 3, 2017 I wonder if he goes into Canton as a Buffalo Bill.
White Linen Posted January 3, 2017 Posted January 3, 2017 I wonder if he goes into Canton as a Buffalo Bill. That's a really good question. He seems like someone to hold a grudge and I'm guessing he snubs Buffalo and says he's a Texan at heart.
hondo in seattle Posted January 3, 2017 Posted January 3, 2017 Amazing how someone so good can so quickly become so useless. maybe he will move back to his home in orchard parkhttp://www.zillow.com/homedetails/5-Woodcrest-Dr-Orchard-Park-NY-14127/66872753_zpid/ This makes me rethink the merits of capitalism! Does a guy who plays a game for a living really deserve to live like this when public servants (teachers, cops, firemen, soldiers, sailors, etc) tend to live paycheck to paycheck in far humbler housing?
dave mcbride Posted January 3, 2017 Posted January 3, 2017 To be fair to Mario Williams, the Bills got one solid season, one very good season, and one great season from him for ~$65 million. That's not a bad ROI for a league like the NFL.
nucci Posted January 3, 2017 Posted January 3, 2017 if I'm Seattle, new england, Arizona i consider bringing him in as a situational guy. 15 snaps a game for $3mm? Why? He's no longer a productive player
