Spurna Posted January 3, 2017 Posted January 3, 2017 No they can't. The owner's can do whatever they want. The reason that owners push for new stadiums is because it raises the shared portion of the revenue. The owners make more money that way. They have absolutely zero say though in mandating stadium amenities. They have no control over that. Why did the Rams leave St. Louis for Los Angeles? If the city/county/fanbase isn't behind Pegula's team, he's gone in 5 years. I guarantee it.
Alphadawg7 Posted January 3, 2017 Posted January 3, 2017 Anyone feel like they don't want to be associated with this organization because all the lies and a sports in general laughing stock they become? Geezus, can Bills fans be anymore dramatic...its a freaking sports team that plays a game for entertainment. If it affects you this much then maybe sports are too emotional for some of you.
Augie Posted January 3, 2017 Posted January 3, 2017 Great stuff Aug!! It isn't something that we do, it's a part of who we are. His Bills tattoo should have been a clue that living room decor was at risk.
JoeF Posted January 3, 2017 Posted January 3, 2017 I will always be there for this team..no matter how foolish, insane or putrid it becomes. No matter how many times Dizzy looks at a live kickoff in the endzone and says to himself -- "hmmmmmm..in college this was a touchback.".. If they kept EJ and his slow eyes and started him, I would still be there for them If they brought back Kay Stephenson I would be there for them.. No one understands Bills fans --- the closest were Cubs fans but now even they are outside our bubble... Bills and me since 1960 and going strong.

I guarantee it. Because Kroenke had an opportunity to move his team there. He decided. The Pegula's would have to decide to leave WNY. That's not happening. They have way, way too much invested there. Here is a good article on the move. The teams wanted to be there because of the opportunity: http://www.espn.com/espn/feature/story/_/id/14752649/the-real-story-nfl-owners-battle-bring-football-back-los-angeles Edited January 3, 2017 by Kirby Jackson

jaclynrea21 Posted January 3, 2017 Author Posted January 3, 2017 Who put a gun to your head and made you be a fan? Why would you say that?
Augie Posted January 3, 2017 Posted January 3, 2017 Because Kroenke had an opportunity to move his team there. He decided. The Pegula's would have to decide to leave WNY. That's not happening. Even some of the folks paying attention seem to have forgotten the jeopardy we faced.
PromoTheRobot Posted January 3, 2017 Posted January 3, 2017 Why would you say that? You are the one who doesn't want to be associated with the Bills...yet here you are on a Bills forum. So who's making you stick around?
Kirby Jackson Posted January 3, 2017 Posted January 3, 2017 That was kind and generous. Even some of the folks paying attention seem to have forgotten the jeopardy we faced. We were fortunate to have WNY owners. We are also fortunate that the lease deal basically locked the team in and scared off many. If you bought the team you were stuck for like 7 years (or whatever it was). If Ralph were still around and it ended up only being a year or so people may have waited it out. The timing was ideal for them remaining in WNY.
#34fan Posted January 3, 2017 Posted January 3, 2017 It's sad, and very frustrating... We all feel it... People who say they don't are either liars, or not true fans... It's especially bothersome when conference-mates like MIA cruise past you on the way to the playoffs.. I fully empathize with the OP... I've CHOSEN to hang in there because of happy childhood memories... GO BILLS! I know we'll eventually put it all together.

So who's making you stick around? I'm here because I don't know what else to say or do, I been a Bills fan for a long time 1988 was my first year. JUST NUMB OK!, I know I will still watch or go to a game just don't like what they are doing lie after lie. Why all the lies Doug Whaly in my opinion is ruining this F-ing team It's sad, and very frustrating... We all feel it... People who say they don't are either liars, or not true fans... Boatdrinks Posted January 3, 2017 Posted January 3, 2017 I don't care if Whaley lies. I can read between the lines and know he's just not going to say certain things. I only care if the Bills win. That said, I'm not very confident Whaley is going to be the GM to turn things around.
