They get more money from ticket sales on the road than they do at home. The percentage is smaller but the prices are so much higher elsewhere. "Stop by tickets" will have no impact whatsoever. Kirby Jackson Posted January 3, 2017 Share Posted January 3, 2017 you are a lot stronger than me, I'm so numb I'm certainly frustrated but still went to watch a meaningless game on New Year's Day. It's just something that my family and I have always done. We go every week (I don't make as many living in NOLA) and we go watch the rest. I've missed 2 games that I can remember and I'm 35. The owner's can do whatever they want. The reason that owners push for new stadiums is because it raises the shared portion of the revenue. The owners make more money that way. My first born son just got engaged and for Christmas his brother gave him a signed Bruce Smith jersey sewn into a giant frame. He LOVED it and started eying places to put it. The fiancé was thinking maybe out on the porch where we'll never see it? She didn't know what she was marrying into, but this was a good introduction. I've warned her before.
