So the conventional wisdom is that you are supposed to hire some head of football operations and let him make every decision unless and until you replace him with someone else. Why bother owning a team in that case?

This thread has great potential.

 

Here's an idea: Make $4 billion and hire a few consultants, tax advisors, attorneys and agents. Then, spend a few billion on buying a team. Then hire some coaches at $30 million and players at $200 million, and when they suck, just question your ownership that benefits a city that was crying for stable ownership just two years ago.

 

Great topic. These "Pegulas suck as owners" threads are tiresome.
