Buffalo Barbarian Posted January 14, 2017 Posted January 14, 2017 @MatthewFairburn What Andy Reid, Mike Tomlin, John Harbaugh said about new Buffalo Bills coach Sean McDermott http://www.newyorkupstate.com/buffalo-bills/index.ssf/2017/01/what_andy_reid_mike_tomlin_said_about_new_buffalo_bills_coach_sean_mcdermott.html Wonder why Reid fired him if he thought so highly of him?
GG Posted January 14, 2017 Posted January 14, 2017 Wonder why Reid fired him if he thought so highly of him? How did the Eagles D fare after he got fired?
Buffalo Barbarian Posted January 14, 2017 Posted January 14, 2017 I laughed at that as well.....at first I said "oh no!" me too lol. How did the Eagles D fare after he got fired? DK
BuffaloHokie13 Posted January 14, 2017 Posted January 14, 2017 (edited) How did the Eagles D fare after he got fired? Well, he was replaced with their OL coach. So not well. Edited January 14, 2017 by BuffaloHokie13
GG Posted January 14, 2017 Posted January 14, 2017 DK Then you probably shouldn't be so quick with the quips.
26CornerBlitz Posted January 14, 2017 Author Posted January 14, 2017 Wonder why Reid fired him if he thought so highly of him? How did the Eagles D fare after he got fired? Ron Rivera talked about that at the top of this interview: Ron Rivera: "He's earned the opportunity" (9:18)Panthers head coach Ron Rivera joined the John Murphy Show to discuss his time with new Bills head coach Sean McDermott. Rivera talked about McDermott's coaching style and some of his influences including the late Jim Johnson.
Buffalo Barbarian Posted January 14, 2017 Posted January 14, 2017 @buffalobills Meeting the OGs. #GoBills Photos of Coach McDermott's first day in Buffalo: http://bufbills.co/FA5tQz Jimbo, buddy you can still sling it right?
zow2 Posted January 14, 2017 Posted January 14, 2017 I like what I've heard and seen about McDermott. Seems like a real up and coming head coach star in this league. I have such a better feeling about this than I had when Rex had his presser. I just hope the fans and Pegula's are patient and give him the full 4-5 years or whatever it is. This first go-around on Coordinators may not be exactly the perfect fit. We'll see but I want McDermott to establish his culture which is obviously much more professional than Rexys. If he has to change coordinators at some point than so be it.
Buffalo Barbarian Posted January 14, 2017 Posted January 14, 2017 (edited) Then you probably shouldn't be so quick with the quips. What are you talking about? I was asking a question, hence the question mark. I would have used a smiley if I was being snarky. Edited January 14, 2017 by Buffalo Barbarian
GG Posted January 14, 2017 Posted January 14, 2017 More patience. I'll wait. Who cares at this point. Go for 20 years. Hell 25. Let's make history baby. Ok since you think that an average fan can do better, what's your plan for this season and the future?
GG Posted January 14, 2017 Posted January 14, 2017 I would've hired Lynn and kept the entire offense in place and hired Gus Bradley for DC. Who's your offensive coordinator?
PromoTheRobot Posted January 14, 2017 Posted January 14, 2017 I would have done something amazing. I can't tell you right now, but believe me it'll be yuge. The Bills are sad, believe me. I'm smarter than the coaches.
BigBuff423 Posted January 14, 2017 Posted January 14, 2017 I would've hired Lynn and kept the entire offense in place and hired Gus Bradley for DC. Then I'm very grateful you're not a billionaire owner or GM.
26CornerBlitz Posted January 14, 2017 Author Posted January 14, 2017 McDermott's vision for Bills rooted in his dedicated approach Sean McDermott did not make any bold promises about where he believes he can take this team. He simply pointed to his process, one he believes in time can build the Bills into a perennial contender.
Billschinatown Posted January 14, 2017 Posted January 14, 2017 I would have done something amazing. I can't tell you right now, but believe me it'll be yuge. The Bills are sad, believe me. I'm smarter than the coaches.
