VABills Posted February 28, 2005 Posted February 28, 2005 I only reply to those who shove it my way. Other than that if you have not met me in person. You an anyone else cant judge me. Anyone who has met me will say different. 255375 Sue we have met. We got along fine when we met. You were pleasant enough in person. However, behind a keyboard you are a lot more grating and agressive.
CoachChuckDickerson Posted February 28, 2005 Posted February 28, 2005 However, I do have several employees that feel the same way about this lady.So I am not the only one. As for keeping my mouth shut, no guarantees. There a limit to the amount of abuse a human being can take. As for me starting trouble on this board. You are overlooking the real people. 255372 Understandable. The truth is though, this happens at virtually every job place in america. A majority of people think they work harder than their co-workers and a majority probably have a manager, someplace in the food chain, they don't get along with. It is the american way. Nothing wrong with it. Have you seen the careerbuilder.com commercials yet? Working with monkeys?
stevestojan Posted February 28, 2005 Posted February 28, 2005 Sue we have met. 255377  I have tears in my eyes from laughing so hard at that statement. It really says alot.

You also have to realize that you have been just as guilty. You have attacked people who did not attack you first. That is not self-defense. Until you accept this, nothing will change for you.
Hawk Posted February 28, 2005 Posted February 28, 2005 Its time for the,, I guess my post has run it's course,so I'll delete it option...

VABills Posted February 28, 2005 Posted February 28, 2005 That is because no one pisses me off in person. Just being myself 255488 You should act the same way behind a keyboard as you do in person. If you treat others that way you'll have a much better experience. Me I am a jerk on board and in person. In fact a good friend put a sign on my wall that says "Pissing the world off, one person at a time". Hiding behind a keyboard and lashing out because others don't agree with you or because you are asking them to do your homework is not a good thing. Self accountability goes a long way. Just like I would never ask for help in reviewing a model to ensure it is in Boyce-Codd normal form. In fact I would venture that only a couple of folks here even know what that means. It is my responsibility to know it or learn it. Not the folks on this board.

That comment will always come up. I was and will always be pro keeping the board clean. However, you mentioning that comment well just proved my point to a few people.

You have on numerous times come here asking for help or on fact really wanted a lot of helping in supporting your homework needs. That is what tutoring and asking for help from your instructors is for. Just as I would not expect NG, T-bone, Johnny Coli or the other drug guys to come here and ask my help on a better way to design Viagra. While I didn't chime in on them, people when they suggested that you would learn more from doing it yourself, you got very, very hostile and agressive towards people. I am not picking on you her Sue, just asking you to consider that some of the things you have done contributed to the issues at hand and to consider the results before you post next time. If you are willing to live with the barbs and understand that people will give smartass remarks then post away. But if you are going to get upset when people ask you to do it yourself, then consider not asking, or PM'ing those that you think are willing to hel with out the joking. Just a simple word of advice. I am not picking and hoping to give you a little constructive criticism.

John from Riverside Posted February 28, 2005 Posted February 28, 2005 My take on this is a little late as it appears to have gotten "a little" off topic...... I speak from experience of having to look for work right before the holidays and save my own families Christmas because a *$&%& of a supervisor decided he wanted someone else in my postion. I dont know if you have kids/family that depend on you Sue but please also include them into your situation...... - If you are filling out resume's and looking for work....for the love of god dont let anyone at your friggen job know....the one person who you think you can trust is probably the one person who's gossiping ways can get you canned...... - It is MUCH easier to deal from a position of strength rather then a position of weakness....meaning....it is a lot easier and less stressfull to find a job when you are currently working in one......I have found that to be true for me especially....you just come across more relaxed in your interviews........ - As much as you hate this chimp in a friggen suit supervisor....DONT BURN YOUR BRIDGES.....be above it all.....and just move on....the way you handle yourself on your way out will say a lot about you as a person.....then you can go home and throw darts at his picture all you want celebrating your new position...... peace
billsfanone Posted February 28, 2005 Posted February 28, 2005 Let me guess... You're bashing your boss because there was no place to put your bowl of pasta salad????
