Dorkington Posted January 2, 2017 Posted January 2, 2017 Good on him to be proactive about it. No objections for me, get whatever is needed done, heal up, be ready for the new season.
YoloinOhio Posted January 2, 2017 Posted January 2, 2017 Shouldn't we hate Cleveland just that much more for banging Sammy up during that "scrimmage" his rookie year? I hate all other NFL franchises. Some more than others. Some much more than others. that was Pittsburgh (Shazier to be exact)
Big Blitz Posted January 2, 2017 Posted January 2, 2017 Best news out of One Bills Drive in months. Not kidding. Get this behind him and ready for camp.
Miyagi-Do Karate Posted January 3, 2017 Posted January 3, 2017 Nice. Should be ready to be back to his usual Self at 60% by week 10 next year!
Bills!Win! Posted January 3, 2017 Posted January 3, 2017 So when in training camp next year does he get hurt?
Saxum Posted January 4, 2017 Posted January 4, 2017 Tim Graham @ByTimGraham 29s29 seconds ago I'm told Bills WR Sammy Watkins will have another foot surgery this week. Glad he is not waiting to March or May if it is true.
Fadingpain Posted January 4, 2017 Posted January 4, 2017 LOL yup... This must be disinformation coming from those lousy News writers! Such drama! Sammy's foot feels great and is somewhere between 95 and 100%. He said so himself!
Mr. WEO Posted January 4, 2017 Posted January 4, 2017 But... "Dr. James Andrews" declared that Sammy did not need more surgery! Good on him to be proactive about it. No objections for me, get whatever is needed done, heal up, be ready for the new season. Where have we read this before...
26CornerBlitz Posted January 4, 2017 Posted January 4, 2017 But... "Dr. James Andrews" declared that Sammy did not need more surgery! Where have we read this before... His surgeon is Dr. James Anderson.
quinnearlysghost88 Posted January 4, 2017 Posted January 4, 2017 They said the same thing about Julio Jones in Atlanta I'm sure too after his first 3 seasons...haven't heard a peep about that recently have you? Jones: 174 catches, 2,737 yards, 20 TDs --- Matt Ryan attempting 1,832 passes over those 3 years Watkins: 153 catches, 2,459 yards, 17 TDs --- Tyrod Taylor and an assortment of other Bills QBs attempting 1,487 passes over those 3 years If we adjust Watkins stats simply for passes attempted, putting them on an even playing field(ie, the Bills throw the ball 350 more times), Watkins stats look like this: Watkins: 188 catches, 3,029 yards, 21 TDs Same foot injury, both needing 2 foot surgeries to come back from it...I'd say Watkins has put up FAR better numbers in his 3 years considering who he has had throwing him the ball and the lack of attempts... I think you might want to save that tired, wrong narrative for about 3 more years...Watkins is a stud when healthy, and hopefully this foot issue will be resolved just like Jones' was by a second surgery. Edelman had two surgeries as well. Last one in spring '16. He seemed to bounce back fine.
The Jokeman Posted January 4, 2017 Posted January 4, 2017 What a waste of two draft picks. a damn shame as Cameron Erving could have been our solution at RT whoops:http://www.cleveland.com/browns/index.ssf/2017/01/cameron_erving_on_crutches_ter.html er maybe Ibraheim Campbell be our SS er wait he got benched this season https://twitter.com/idpsharks/status/777595348256559104
