Aaron Williams said both his parents and Fred Jackson have advised him to retire. He hasn't made a decision yet. #Bills

Aaron Williams says his family has told him to walk away: "You gotta go with what your heart's telling you to do."

Williams: "Its like a scale, there are pros and cons [to coming back]. And sometimes you don't want to listen to the cons."

He's done. Even if that thought is in your head then it's over. You have to be able to go out there with reckless abandon. If you are playing not to get hurt you are more likely to get hurt. It's either hit or be hit in football

It's not really anyone's business but his. He can play again if he wants to play.

Of course he can still play. Doesn't mean that he should considering how the last two seasons ended for him.

I think that within a few weeks Williams will realize that he should retire. It is too bad for him and the Bills - you can see how valuable he was with the way that the secondary fell apart without him.

And he should....football is great, and I love the sport...but NOTHING is more important than your family. He's young and would probably have several opportunities available to him where he doesn't have to risk permanent paralysis to take care of his family....do it, and don't look back. The game is a cold-blooded killer that will take everything from you if you don't know when to walk away...

He should absolutely retire, no question. You only get one life, and one body. He should save himself.
