26CornerBlitz Posted January 2, 2017 Posted January 2, 2017 @JaySkurski Just spent 10 minutes speaking with Aaron Williams. He's undecided on his playing future, but admits family is pushing him to retire. #Bills
MAJBobby Posted January 2, 2017 Posted January 2, 2017 He really should. Has already made life and long term family wealth. Should think about long term health
Dorkington Posted January 2, 2017 Posted January 2, 2017 Literally everyone other than Aaron Williams and his agent thinks he should retire.
MAJBobby Posted January 2, 2017 Posted January 2, 2017 Landrys hit while dirty happens alot on a football field. Take care of that neck Aaron
26CornerBlitz Posted January 2, 2017 Author Posted January 2, 2017 @Matt_Bove Aaron Williams still hasn't made a decision about his future. Said family & mentors like Fred Jackson have urged him to step away #Bills

Tom Martin @4TomMartin 15m15 minutes ago Williams: "Its like a scale, there are pros and cons [to coming back]. And sometimes you don't want to listen to the cons."
NoSaint Posted January 2, 2017 Posted January 2, 2017 he probably should hang them up- but i wont pretend to have had the discussions he and his doctors have had about the risks
26CornerBlitz Posted January 2, 2017 Author Posted January 2, 2017 @buffalobills Aaron Williams: "I haven't made a decision yet. You can't stop what your heart's telling you to do. There are pros and cons to coming back."
jr1 Posted January 2, 2017 Posted January 2, 2017 business, coaching, broadcasting plenty of other things for him to try
26CornerBlitz Posted January 2, 2017 Author Posted January 2, 2017 @thadbrown7 Aaron Williams says there are no hard feelings towards Landry. "He hasn't talked to me and he doesn't need to." #Bills #Dolphins
mob16151 Posted January 2, 2017 Posted January 2, 2017 I hope Aaron retires. Also hope the franchise keeps him around in some capacity,if that's what he wants.
26CornerBlitz Posted January 2, 2017 Author Posted January 2, 2017 @thadbrown7 Aaron Williams: I don't sleep. My mind runs a million miles an hour thinking about what I'm going to do.
K D Posted January 2, 2017 Posted January 2, 2017 He's done. Even if that thought is in your head then it's over. You have to be able to go out there with reckless abandon. If you are playing not to get hurt you are more likely to get hurt. It's either hit or be hit in football
dayman Posted January 2, 2017 Posted January 2, 2017 It's not really anyone's business but his. He can play again if he wants to play.
GG Posted January 2, 2017 Posted January 2, 2017 It's not really anyone's business but his. He can play again if he wants to play. Of course he can still play. Doesn't mean that he should considering how the last two seasons ended for him.
OldTimer1960 Posted January 2, 2017 Posted January 2, 2017 I think that within a few weeks Williams will realize that he should retire. It is too bad for him and the Bills - you can see how valuable he was with the way that the secondary fell apart without him.
BigBuff423 Posted January 2, 2017 Posted January 2, 2017 And he should....football is great, and I love the sport...but NOTHING is more important than your family. He's young and would probably have several opportunities available to him where he doesn't have to risk permanent paralysis to take care of his family....do it, and don't look back. The game is a cold-blooded killer that will take everything from you if you don't know when to walk away...
Beef Jerky Posted January 2, 2017 Posted January 2, 2017 I have been saying we needed a new safety for a few years now. AW just doesn't have the body to play football.
Dr. K Posted January 2, 2017 Posted January 2, 2017 He should absolutely retire, no question. You only get one life, and one body. He should save himself.
