njsue Posted February 27, 2005 Posted February 27, 2005 What olineman have the Bills scouts looked at. I watched the olineman sprints. Damn those big boys can run.
LabattBlue Posted February 27, 2005 Posted February 27, 2005 nice little thingy there for the nfl network-deprived. good watchin' 254650 Thanks for the heads up! Adelphia isn't putting up the NFL Network until sometime next week. From someone who has slammed bb.com in the past, kudos to them for streaming the combine coverage!
CajunBillsBacker Posted February 27, 2005 Posted February 27, 2005 This is great, Matt Jones from Arkansas just ran a 4.43. I don't think he'll have much of a problem converting from QB to H-back/TE.
Ramius Posted February 27, 2005 Posted February 27, 2005 I am watchin the combine on the NFL network right now, a lot of interesting info they got on there... the commentator with the lisp is driving me crazy tho...

CajunBillsBacker Posted February 27, 2005 Posted February 27, 2005 Depends on his hands. If he has good ones, he'll be a high pick at TE. 254705 Update, his second run was a 4.37 Definitely all depends on his hands, but I have no doubt that he has good hands. He's one of those former basketball player type players. I think he's gonna end up the best TE in the draft.
brihs2005 Posted February 27, 2005 Posted February 27, 2005 Depends on his hands. If he has good ones, he'll be a high pick at TE. 254705 WOW! His hands look incredible. He is huge and running in the 4.4 range. He could be a real weapon for MM and TC. This could be an interesting pick in the second day, assuming he makes it there. With 40's like that, he may not make it out of the third round.
nodnarb Posted February 27, 2005 Author Posted February 27, 2005 man, i had guessed the bills taking matt jones in the 7th round...but after this combine, he's a first-day guy. 6-6 and 240 pounds running a 4.37?! Are you fuggin kidding me? ANd with great hands and 4 years of QB experience? Sounds like a Mularkey Slash if there ever was one. I'll be thrilled if we draft this guy.

The Bills might need to use their 1st pick (2nd rounder) to get him, and even that might not be high enough.
PromoTheRobot Posted February 27, 2005 Posted February 27, 2005 Did you see Jerome Mathis of Hampton? Calls himself the fastest receiver in college football...then runs a 4.33!!!! Way to walk the walk, Jerome! Best time up till then was 4.43!!! Need to keep an on this kid. PTR
PromoTheRobot Posted February 27, 2005 Posted February 27, 2005 Courtney Roby of Indiana just ran 4.33 PTR
BillsGuyInMalta Posted February 27, 2005 Posted February 27, 2005 Courtney Roby of Indiana just ran 4.33 PTR 254727 I had the Bills taking him in the 4th round in the latest Draft I'm putting together...sadly for us, that'll push him into Day One for sure.
brihs2005 Posted February 27, 2005 Posted February 27, 2005 nodnarb - Thanks for posting this. I was looking for away to procrastinate on all my papers that are due this week. Man, i don't want to wait 7-8 weeks for draft week.
