Remember all those playoff scenarios a couple weeks back. Anyone know how close we were to having all the help we need actually happen this week? Despite our 2 losses.

Tennessee would have eliminated us by defeating Houston and Denver also beat Oakland so two straight we'd still have not gotten in

What's nice about reflecting on this season is we are a couple games away from being a playoff team. Our fan base with the blow everything up mentality are really off the rails. Hard to completely blame them because the drought makes you delirious but we're not a team completely void of hope.

Yes especially the fact that there were so many games that we should have won this year, that's what makes this even more frustrating.

The good news is the Bills were 1-5 in the division and 6-4 out of the division.

The Bills know the enemy that they have to focus on in 2017.

If the Bills went 4-2 in the division in 2017 they would be in the playoffs.

A lot of teams can say that. The league is full of teams a game or two around .500

Reality is, we're picking 10th. So 22 teams finished ahead of us. Every team had a few games they feel they should have won if not for a missed call, a dropped pass or a dumb coaching decision.

You can say we're close. And if the goal is a first-round exit in the wild card game, then maybe we are. But so what? This team needs some smart people in the front office with a clear, unified vision towards sustained success. It sucks when some people who post on this message board are smarter than the clowns that have gone through OBD.

I said we're close to the playoffs, which we were. We act like we're the Browns reeling with no where to turn. We are not. We have talent and have at least as good a roster as 6-8 teams with better records.

Thank God those are done. We have been out of it since that embarrassing Pitt game. I don't care if there was a chance if this that and the other happened. Losing 6 out of 9 and people thought we still had a chance is nonsense. We are a bad team. Let's talk about how to get better, not live in LA la land where maybe just maybe we can sneak into the wild card
