Buffalo Barbarian Posted January 2, 2017 Posted January 2, 2017 (edited) Now that he has been in the league for 4 yrs and has rid himself of the college spread taint, he looked solid today and this yr. Could be had for cheap and would be a good bridge if he doesn't perform. (and one of my prodigal sons pans out ). (disclaimer: I liked him college but disowned him before his season ended) http://www.nfl.com/player/landryjones/2539287/profile other available QBs; http://www.spotrac.com/nfl/free-agents/all/quarterback/ Edited January 2, 2017 by Buffalo Barbarian

Landry Jones and Mike Glennon best of a sorry lot.

Bangarang Posted January 2, 2017 Posted January 2, 2017 As a replacement for EJ as the backup right? You're on crack if you think he's a decent option to start.
Buffalo Barbarian Posted January 2, 2017 Author Posted January 2, 2017 As a replacement for EJ as the backup right? You're on crack if you think he's a decent option to start. with TT and EJ gone we need something. I'm all in on getting Romo first.
Nihilarian Posted January 2, 2017 Posted January 2, 2017 What Jones did in OT on that last drive to win the game against Cleveland was impressive! But you also need to take into consideration that the Steelers have a much more talented surrounding cast, coaches, players, scheme. 24 of 37 for 277, 3 TD's, 1 INT. when the Steelers starting RB was only averaging 2.8 YPC against that Cleveland defense that really wanted to win. Another note is that Pittsburgh was playing their backup players. If Buffalo were to go to a mostly passing schemed offense and wanted a solid young pocket passer I'd give Jones a long look over Glennon. Of course, If I had a full choice it would be Kirk Cousins hands down.
Billsman623 Posted January 2, 2017 Posted January 2, 2017 Jones looked good yesterday. Could do a lot worse, especially if the price is right.
nucci Posted January 2, 2017 Posted January 2, 2017 Jones looked good yesterday. Could do a lot worse, especially if the price is right. The goal should be to do a lot better
Best Player Available Posted January 2, 2017 Posted January 2, 2017 BRING BACK THAD LEWIS Might as well get Ruvel Martin off the couch too. 2 receivers look like their headed to greener pastures. Woods and glass.

He looked okay against Cleveland. So what!
Johnny Hammersticks Posted January 2, 2017 Posted January 2, 2017 BB endorses Landry Jones, therefore Landry will continue to suck as bad as he has sucked.
The Jokeman Posted January 2, 2017 Posted January 2, 2017 BB endorses Landry Jones, therefore Landry will continue to suck as bad as he has sucked. but but Bill Polian called him the best QB of his draft class. Maybe we can sign him and bring in Polian to be our football czar.
VABills Posted January 2, 2017 Posted January 2, 2017 Against the Browns whom we destroyed with our benched QB. Pass.
John from Riverside Posted January 2, 2017 Posted January 2, 2017 Here is crazy thought..... We are having a hard time finding a qb good enough in the free agent list that can replace Tyrod Taylor How about....we just keep Tyrod Taylor
