This would be funny if it weren't so pathetic. A ridiculously talented, spoiled, overpaid, lazy, and underachieving player who's wasting more talent since Derrick Coleman is going to tell a guy with middling talent, but a fire and will and a non-stop motor that made him a perennial Pro Bowler not to retire? STFU Marcell, and put it out on the field, then maybe you can whisper Mr. Williams name.

The question isn't whether if he wants to come back. It's if we want him back, we need to lower his cap hit about 2 million. If he is willing, then he will be back.

Wonder if he will have anything left in the tank. I just hope if they get rid of him people won't go all "Fred Jackson" on this forum.

Weren't we all wondering about that before this past season?

Are you saying that unless he takes a pay cut, he's out?

Why? On a production basis, he's the cheapest DT in the NFL that's not on a rookie contract. If anything, he's underpaid. He's the healthiest he's been in years, so why do we need to do anything with his contract? Cut some other guy's contract who isn't earning it. Cutting Kyle's contract would send exactly the wrong message to players.

I agree this has absolutely nothing to do with weather.

Not sure of the validity or Jason Cole's track record:

Jason Cole of B/R spoke with outgoing coaches from the Bills’ staff who are angry with DT Marcell Dareus for his criticism of former HC Rex Ryan’s defense.

The coaches who spoke to Cole says that Dareus was “incredibly lazy” even when he was healthy and not suspended.

Cole’s source added that Dareus was regularly on his phone or iPad during meetings and not paying attention to what was being discussed by the coaching staff.

According to Cole, veteran DT Kyle Williams had to constantly tell Dareus what his assignments were during games

Whisper some sweet nothings?

He is telling Kyle to to get suspended for 4 games, show up out of shape with requisite hamstring injury which gives him another 3 or 4 games off---that's how you do it. Gets you one more "season".

He's trying to convince Kyle it's totally doable.....

Don't forget to come into camp each year completely fat, dumb and lazy, and have to be on the sidelines like a dunce riding a bike, and doing sit ups.

According to a leak to La Conjecture (misspelled one by the way) he is on bubble but I think La Conjecture stopped taking calls after all the wrong information.

Shocking.

Well, shocking to the many Dareus coddlers here who will simply shoot the messenger.

No wonder Dareus needs Kyle around.

I know Kyle has a large cap hit. But his veteran presence is needed during this transition. He is worth the money still (at least based on his play this past year). If they cut Kyle, I think it would be way worse than when we cut Fred. Fred had nothing left to give. Kyle has plenty to give still. I hope he gets to see a playoff game next year but he most likely wont

It will be interesting to see how new coach treats Dareus if he gets out of line. He has really treated the team bad and deserves a good kick in the butt.
