Saxum Posted January 1, 2017 Posted January 1, 2017 http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/look-no-one-shows-up-to-watch-nfl-games-on-new-years-day/ IMO next time this happens the NFL should not play week 16 Christmas weekend, play games mid week with more later afternoon games and then play week 17 following mid week with more later afternoon games. Give a week and half before playoffs.
Boatdrinks Posted January 1, 2017 Posted January 1, 2017 Not many games with serious playoff implications beyond seeding. Even with division contests scheduled week 17
The Wiz Posted January 1, 2017 Posted January 1, 2017 I get the feeling most of the people that showed up either A) don't drink or B) were still drunk.
CodeMonkey Posted January 2, 2017 Posted January 2, 2017 The Bills didn't show up to play one either.

bobobonators Posted January 2, 2017 Posted January 2, 2017 Wasnt the Bengals stadium half full for our game? Seems to me like Bungals fans are jus tired
sodbuster Posted January 2, 2017 Posted January 2, 2017 The cap hasn't exactly been packed lately either. People don't care to see meaningless games.
snafu Posted January 2, 2017 Posted January 2, 2017 I was at Bills/Jets today. I usually take the train there. Not today. Literally found a spot in the second row at 1:00. The place was subdued to say the least. I took my youngest (9) for his first NFL game. He said that he had a great time but it would've been 1,000 times better if the Bills won. The only thing I could think to say was "no sh**, Sherlock" so I just kept my mouth shut.
