FireChan Posted January 2, 2017 Posted January 2, 2017 That's 100% on the media questions that were asked. Lol what? Whaley lied and said we'll make decisions with our new HC. Wasn't the media's fault at all.
PastaJoe Posted January 2, 2017 Posted January 2, 2017 That was sad, Whaley comes off as a corporate lackey with no real power. To not be told why Rex was fired and not even ask about it is hard to believe. Now John Murphy on radio being a Whaley apologist.
BaaadThingsMan Posted January 2, 2017 Posted January 2, 2017 That's 100% on the media questions that were asked. thats what i'm talking about, total witch hunt. They're all sittin back smokin stogies workin on their next scathing article which apparently, my gf dad still reads daily lmao...ugh
Kelly the Dog Posted January 2, 2017 Posted January 2, 2017 Obvious DW wasn't interested in doing the press conference, but it was a evil necessity. Media is a bunch of hacks and DW knows that and just beat around the bush the whole time just trying to get to the finish line. Waste of time by everyone involved. This was entirely predictable, which is why Whaley showing up last week was unnecessary because it would have been this schitshow a week earlier and before the season was over.
Bangarang Posted January 2, 2017 Posted January 2, 2017 In other words it changed no minds. Media's act for the past 10 days has been shameful. This team's performance for the last 17 years has been shameful. How you can try and make the media the villains in all of this is !@#$ing mind boggling.
John from Riverside Posted January 2, 2017 Posted January 2, 2017 Agreed. Your right They should stop having them.....or change the format of them
Bronc24 Posted January 2, 2017 Posted January 2, 2017 I am a cup half full kinda guy. I want to think things will get better. But after listening to that press conference, I have finally concluded the entire organization needs to be completely blown up. My Lord, that was awful.
Wayne Arnold Posted January 2, 2017 Posted January 2, 2017 He knows why. He's just not going to publicly disparage Rex. Why the secrecy? Just tell it like it is. Rex's defense was a poor fit for the personnel and it wasn't working. We appreciate Rex's effort and wish him all the best. The End. My goodness this is so ridiculous.
The Big Cat Posted January 2, 2017 Posted January 2, 2017 That's 100% on the media questions that were asked. Yep they pursued the same dead end about team structure, critiquing the ownership through questions to the GM as if he was going to speak for them and their decisions. Now they'll act apoplectic that he didn't, like it's their first !@#$ing days as adults.
BaaadThingsMan Posted January 2, 2017 Posted January 2, 2017 This team's performance for the last 17 years has been shameful. How you can try and make the media the villains in all of this is !@#$ing mind boggling. did u listen to the presser? The media was hunting, not asking the right questions. Nothing came out of it because nothing was asked. All they wanted was a chance to bury the fork.
26CornerBlitz Posted January 2, 2017 Posted January 2, 2017 @TBNSports A replay of the Doug Whaley press conference has just started here at [bN] Blitz: http://buffalonews.com/2017/01/02/live-coverage-buffalo-bills-locker-cleanout-gm-doug-whaleys-press-conference/
Kelly the Dog Posted January 2, 2017 Posted January 2, 2017 That's 100% on the media questions that were asked. Yep. There were trying to pin blame on a guy who is never going to give them any answers to that stuff and it's obvious by his history and no GM was going to give them what they wanted.
The Big Cat Posted January 2, 2017 Posted January 2, 2017 Why the secrecy? Just tell it like it is. Rex's defense was a poor fit for the personnel and it wasn't working. We appreciate Rex's effort and wish him all the best. The End. My goodness this is so ridiculous. It's ridiculous you think that's how these things work.
FireChan Posted January 2, 2017 Posted January 2, 2017 If you're Lynn, would you watch this mess and say, "this is the place for me!" Run Anthony. We will murder your career.
PastaJoe Posted January 2, 2017 Posted January 2, 2017 Here we go with the media haters because they pressed Whaley on his unbelievable lack of interest on if or why Rex was fired. They're not there to throw softballs because tough questions make the Bills look bad.
K D Posted January 2, 2017 Posted January 2, 2017 I am a cup half full kinda guy. I want to think things will get better. But after listening to that press conference, I have finally concluded the entire organization needs to be completely blown up. My Lord, that was awful. Welcome. 17 years late to the party but hopefully more and more start to see the light. We are a 2nd rate organization. We have rich owners. Blow it up and do it right this time. I don't want to maybe make the playoffs. I want to win the super bowl and dominate
The Big Cat Posted January 2, 2017 Posted January 2, 2017 This team's performance for the last 17 years has been shameful. How you can try and make the media the villains in all of this is !@#$ing mind boggling. That's what you think I'm doing? Blaming the media for the drought?
BaaadThingsMan Posted January 2, 2017 Posted January 2, 2017 Why the secrecy? Just tell it like it is. Rex's defense was a poor fit for the personnel and it wasn't working. We appreciate Rex's effort and wish him all the best. The End. My goodness this is so ridiculous. yeah. Whaley should have shut them down, his attemp at transpatency didn't go very well when he couldn't or wouldn't answer those questions with conviction.
Kelly the Dog Posted January 2, 2017 Posted January 2, 2017 If you're Lynn, would you watch this mess and say, "this is the place for me!" Run Anthony. We will murder your career. If you're a coach you're probably thinking my GM is never going to blame me for anything no matter what.
