PromoTheRobot Posted January 1, 2017 Posted January 1, 2017 Now we must cut Gillislee in retribution.
Bob in STL Posted January 1, 2017 Posted January 1, 2017 It's still a Rex atmosphere that can't be fumigated six days later. Agree. The Rex Ryan hangover was present today. There are players that are Rex loyalists that did not show up to play, and there are veterans who know the game is meaningless. This team needs a full and complete cleansing but that will not happen.
billsfan714 Posted January 1, 2017 Posted January 1, 2017 Now we must cut Gillislee in retribution. Promo you're going to that well every time a player is criticized. It's getting old.
Haslett_Stomp Posted January 1, 2017 Posted January 1, 2017 Except in college, It's a touchback there. INdeed. Didn't see this as I had left the bar where I was watching the game. Just as well...
DC Tom Posted January 1, 2017 Posted January 1, 2017 Seven points in zero seconds. Awesome. Way to go Browns...now give the Bills players back their uniforms.
KD in CA Posted January 1, 2017 Posted January 1, 2017 (edited) Poorly prepared team in all facets of the game. No attention to detail which is the mark of a Rex Ryan Buffalo Bills team. Fixed. When was the last time this franchise fielded a team that was well prepared and had high attention to detail and situational awareness? Edited January 1, 2017 by KD in CA
billsfan714 Posted January 1, 2017 Posted January 1, 2017 The Bills of the 2000's could make quite a blooper reel. I cant wait to see it on ESPN's 60 for 60 series.
Fadingpain Posted January 1, 2017 Posted January 1, 2017 Check out the official in the white cap as he puts his arms up to signal "TD"... Big fat grin and laughing... Seemed to be thinking "Holy crap, I've never see anything this stupid before!"
Augie Posted January 1, 2017 Posted January 1, 2017 Know the rules of the game you play for a very handsome living. Notre Dame did something similar under Faust a billion years ago. I remember that, because it was that stupid.
stevestojan Posted January 1, 2017 Author Posted January 1, 2017 Or a punt That's the thing with a guy that has zero return history -- you have to drill these guys on the rules and how to handle things when they aren't used to being on special teams Are you guys REALLY defending this ? I'm a fat !@#$ who has never touched a football while sober and know that a kickoff is a live FB. GESUS. Even our fans are turning apologetic.

Even our fans are turning apologetic. Not defending it at all... saying that coaches have to prep guys extra when joining the unit is all. Know what you watch? Special teams plays all over the league. Know what gillislee watches? Not that. If his last experience was at a lower level that's what his gut reaction will default to - so a coach has to drill him on the position. You know, since it's his first time playing it as a pro. This type of issue has happened to crossman a lot. Look at his Detroit meltdowns. MG should know better too though

It's a kickoff. It's a LIVE ball. !@#$.
apuszczalowski Posted January 2, 2017 Posted January 2, 2017 I can honestly say that in all my years of watching football, I never realised that a kickoff is a live ball unlike a punt. I thought maybe someone had touched it, the sound wasn't very loud where I was watching the game so I didn't hear anything explaining it either. Had to laugh cause it summed up the team and this season so well.....

boyst Posted January 2, 2017 Posted January 2, 2017 i blame rex ryan for rhis, i really do. but yes, he shouldn't have been in.
FireChan Posted January 2, 2017 Posted January 2, 2017 Fixed. When was the last time this franchise fielded a team that was well prepared and had high attention to detail and situational awareness? 2014....

Augie Posted January 2, 2017 Posted January 2, 2017 That may be the worst thing I've ever seen in professional football. But other than that........
