Best Player Available
This presser will be a all time classic. Will not be surprised if they pull him out of there after he spouts 10 minutes of cliches.
NoSaint
Crossman has never been good about getting guys situationally aware-- and as a special teams coach you've got to be good at that. Hand him a seasoned returner and it's no big deal but when you start seeing injuries and rotating characters and crossmans units have had all time great flubs everywhere he's been

We're not talking about a complicated play here. It's "don't let a live ball sit and your feet in the end zone."
26CornerBlitz
@SBNationNFL The Jets accidentally scored a touchdown on a kickoff against the Bills and it’s the weirdest thing: http://www.sbnation.com/2017/1/1/14140452/jets-onside-kick-touchdown-bills? D. L. Hot-Flamethrower
I thought is was really bush of the Jets. Just trying to run up the score by onside kicking with a big lead Edited January 1, 2017 by horned dogs
What a Tuel
I thought is was really bush of the Jets. Just trying to run up the score by onside kicking with a big lead That's what I thought happened as I was getting a drink and I saw a tweet about Jets scoring on onside kick. I was like wtf, who does that
PromoTheRobot
Situationally aware? We're not talking about a complicated play here. It's "don't let a live ball sit and your feet in the end zone." Except in college, It's a touchback there.
CodeMonkey
This one play defines the essence of the Buffalo Bills.
NoSaint
Except in college, It's a touchback there. Or a punt That's the thing with a guy that has zero return history -- you have to drill these guys on the rules and how to handle things when they aren't used to being on special teams
MDH
It wasn't just that Gillislee didn't jump on the ball once it was in the end zon but he ran forward to block when the ball was kicked deep to his half of the field. They weren't playing a single deep returner, wtf was he thinking? Then to further the blunder by thinking it was a touchback... Horrible individual effort and awareness but also speaks to how the players are just generally unprepared.
Bob in STL
Poorly prepared team in all facets of the game. No attention to detail which is the mark of a Rex Ryan team.
run dat back
speaks to how the players are just generally unprepared. They DID fire Rex already, right?
26CornerBlitz
They DID fire Rex already, right? It's still a Rex atmosphere that can't be fumigated six days later.
MDH
They DID fire Rex already, right? You think this stuff can be fixed by a single individual in a week?
Nanker
That was an outstanding play. Hey, after blowing the NFL record for fewest turnovers, at least they captured the "Most craptacular play of the year" with that little brain fart.
