Bocephuz Posted January 1, 2017 Posted January 1, 2017 Pick up TT option, draft Luke Falk and open it up 3 way competition in 2017 http://draftbreakdown.com/players/luke-falk/ IMO Falk is best QB prospect with highest ceiling
MAJBobby Posted January 1, 2017 Posted January 1, 2017 Mahomes is my guy at this point in the draft season
Bocephuz Posted January 1, 2017 Author Posted January 1, 2017 Mahomes is my guy at this point in the draft season Mahomes looks very similar to Tyrod based on what I've seen
MAJBobby Posted January 1, 2017 Posted January 1, 2017 Mahomes looks very similar to Tyrod based on what I've seen They look nothing alike. Texas Tech is all timing. A true spread offense
Nostradumbass Posted January 1, 2017 Posted January 1, 2017 A competition that TT wins by about the third hour of camp

Bocephuz Posted January 1, 2017 Author Posted January 1, 2017 Falk is going back to school. [/quote Damn...
HumbleAndHungry Posted January 1, 2017 Posted January 1, 2017 (edited) Trade for romo, draft Watson, continue to develop Cardale Edited January 1, 2017 by Finkle Is Einhorn
swnybillsfan Posted January 1, 2017 Posted January 1, 2017 i would hate any trade, because i just feel if a qb is any good at all, they don't get traded. but i would love to draft at least one. and bring in every guy you can find. every minute of every OTA should be guys throwing balls to guys running. comb the damn desert!
Green Lightning Posted January 1, 2017 Posted January 1, 2017 Falk is going back to school. Good, we'll get him next year when we tank.
OldTimer1960 Posted January 1, 2017 Posted January 1, 2017 There are no good NFL QB prospects in this draft that I can identify. Any high pick spent on a QB this year is a hope/prayer and a missed opportunity on another position- and clearly there are lots of needs on D and other areas (WR, OT).
26CornerBlitz Posted January 1, 2017 Posted January 1, 2017 Good, we'll get him next year when we tank. Sure they will as if he's a guy with #1 overall QB talent and the Bills would be guaranteed to be at the bottom. Sorry, but OBD isn't implementing any plan to tank.

OldTimer1960 Posted January 2, 2017 Posted January 2, 2017 Trade for romo, draft Watson, continue to develop Cardale Watson is just a cheaper version of Taylor, if you can get him in 3rd round or later. Maybe OK if you don't pick up Tyrod's option, it not likely a long term answer- at least to my eyes.
Wayne Arnold Posted January 2, 2017 Posted January 2, 2017 It wouldn't be a competition. Aside from Taylor's backup.
Green Lightning Posted January 2, 2017 Posted January 2, 2017 My bad. Nah, I'm just grumpy and a bit tired of crap efforts by this team. The deterioration of our defense is just stunning.
Luxy312 Posted January 2, 2017 Posted January 2, 2017 This team is not going through another round of open tryouts. The idea that there would be some 3 way competition between two guys we already have and a draft pick is beyond idiotic. Why did Taylor sit today? Really simple question with a simple answer. If he gets hurt, the Bills have to pay his almost $30 million option. They sat him so they could drop him without repercussions. EJ is as good as gone. Not starting material. Jones may be the only QB on the roster before the draft this season. As for Falk, he's not even going to be in the draft until 2018 and won't be top-5 as a prospect then at his position. The Bills need help at safety badly next year. I believe that will be the priority position in the draft for this disaster of a team.
