Nervous Guy Posted January 1, 2017 Posted January 1, 2017 I was right.... again. at least Michigan scored!
Pine Barrens Mafia Posted January 1, 2017 Author Posted January 1, 2017 at least Michigan scored! When PSU smokes USC the truth will be painfully obvious xD
Pine Barrens Mafia Posted January 1, 2017 Author Posted January 1, 2017 Go USC! Ha! You'll be proven wrong, mr. "Real big ten."
Fadingpain Posted January 1, 2017 Posted January 1, 2017 Tough day yesterday for the Big 10 and for college football. 2 stinker games.
Nervous Guy Posted January 1, 2017 Posted January 1, 2017 When PSU smokes USC the truth will be painfully obvious xD USC ain't Clemson or Bama...both would be a bad match up for PSU, and Mich for that matter.
Pine Barrens Mafia Posted January 1, 2017 Author Posted January 1, 2017 USC ain't Clemson or Bama...both would be a bad match up for PSU, and Mich for that matter. I think they'd have put up more of a fight. They have offense.
Rico Posted January 1, 2017 Posted January 1, 2017 I think they'd have put up more of a fight. They have offense. Ratings would've been a disaster, ESPN would not approve.
K D Posted January 1, 2017 Posted January 1, 2017 (edited) If this happened 2 years ago I think people would have said the playoff system was dumb and not needed. They are lucky Ohio state won that year. This year it was pretty obvious who the top 2 teams were and they proved it yesterday Edited January 1, 2017 by kdiggz
CDogg20 Posted January 1, 2017 Posted January 1, 2017 That was so underwhelming. Time to make it an 8 team playoff
Doc Posted January 1, 2017 Posted January 1, 2017 That was so underwhelming. Time to make it an 8 team playoff Or at least 6.
CDogg20 Posted January 1, 2017 Posted January 1, 2017 Or at least 6.100% agreed. I also think Michigan or Penn St vs Bama or Clemson would have been much more interesting games
PromoTheRobot Posted January 1, 2017 Posted January 1, 2017 That was so underwhelming. Time to make it an 8 team playoffOnly if the 8 are all FBS conference champs and one at-large.
PatsFanNH Posted January 1, 2017 Posted January 1, 2017 I was right.... again. And in other news all four NCAA final teams could beat the Jets and Browns.. lol well at least Alabama can
Ed_Formerly_of_Roch Posted January 1, 2017 Posted January 1, 2017 I'd prefer 6 as this gives the top two teams a 1st round bye. Most often then the top two teams would end up in the championship game, but still gives two more teams a shot. That was so underwhelming. Time to make it an 8 team playoff
\GoBillsInDallas/ Posted January 1, 2017 Posted January 1, 2017 When PSU smokes USC the truth will be painfully obvious xD OTOH, we'll get one more look at the USC cheerleaders.
Cynical Posted January 1, 2017 Posted January 1, 2017 If this happened 2 years ago I think people would have said the playoff system was dumb and not needed. They are lucky Ohio state won that year. This year it was pretty obvious who the top 2 teams were and they proved it yesterday The past 2 years of the playoffs proved who the top2 teams were. Its beginning to look like college footbal should have stayed with the the BCS format. That was so underwhelming. Time to make it an 8 team playoff So adding even more crappier teams into the mix is going to make it less underwhelming?
rant_and_go Posted January 1, 2017 Posted January 1, 2017 The south rules college football. What happens is northern teams are built to play in bad weather and the south has home field advantage in the championship games. Bills went through it drafting Roscoe, McGahee from the U and they fell apart. What they need is a 64 team playoff. Top 4 get a pass, everyone else starts off in overtime rules. Rose Bowl, Orange Bowl, Big House and Yankee Stadium are the venues on New Years Day. It won't work because college administrators are senile corrupt monsters.
