13player Posted December 31, 2016 Posted December 31, 2016 I hope the bills give some time to Pete Carmichael as head coach, i think he is as ready as you get to make the jump, done a heck of a job for 7 years in New Orleans. any other thoughts on Pete for coach?

No interest at all. He runs Payton's offense. He's the Dennis Thurman of New Orleans.
NoSaint Posted December 31, 2016 Posted December 31, 2016 He's essentially been personal coach to drew Brees dating back to San Diego and is under Sean Payton--- so it's hard to gauge his skill. He's done decent and all but almost impossible to gauge

Bangarang Posted December 31, 2016 Posted December 31, 2016 The Saints offense is all Brees and Payton.

YoloinOhio Posted December 31, 2016 Posted December 31, 2016 Never heard of him but props for thinking out of the box!
BuffaloBillsMagic1 Posted December 31, 2016 Posted December 31, 2016 Doug Moron used to be in name the offensive coordinator for Payton and the Saints before he went to SU
Dirtbag Posted December 31, 2016 Posted December 31, 2016 Or Hoagy's? the guy who invented the hoagie? yeah, that's his pops.
NoSaint Posted December 31, 2016 Posted December 31, 2016 He is someone I'd consider for OC but not HC. He may go somewhere for more autonomy on offense. I'll counter with the fact that being a good playcaller/designer isn't key to being a head coach Id be more concerned about who he'd bring in as OC if you are worried about the offense he'd run -- maybe even kromer for continuity and familiarity?
dwight in philly Posted December 31, 2016 Posted December 31, 2016 Is he Harold Carmichael's kid? Or Hoagy's? its pete carmichaels kid.
BuffalothruMyVeins Posted January 1, 2017 Posted January 1, 2017 Yes please... Former N.O. OCs have never done us wrong.
