#34fan Posted December 30, 2016 Posted December 30, 2016 Now THAT took some serious scrotum... You were a giant, Marv.
KellyToTasker Posted December 30, 2016 Posted December 30, 2016 Only if he brings a certain QB with him....That's right, Jim Kelly.
dezertbill Posted December 30, 2016 Posted December 30, 2016 (edited) Love Marv. But it's literally been a generation since he's last coached. Enjoy your HOF status. No thanks Edited December 30, 2016 by dezertbill
C.Biscuit97 Posted December 30, 2016 Posted December 30, 2016 Marv is better shape and smarter than Rex!
3rdand12 Posted December 30, 2016 Posted December 30, 2016 LOL...crazy article, I am sure its just him having fun with it. But can you imagine if they called him? I mean people talk about the game passing Cowher by...the game passed Levy like 20 years ago. I love Levy as much as anyone, but this would be a terrible idea in every way imaginable. I mean he was awful in the FO in his thought process lol. Not only is this a terrible idea, but how could someone his age even handle the offseason responsibilities let alone coaching. But I am sure there will be those around here you will hope this happens lol Dear Pegs and Doug Whaley, Pleeeaaassseee don't listen to this foolish article and hire someone so beloved just to for the nostalgia and to sell tickets...all its going to do is make the people who love him turn on him and hate him when it becomes immediately crystal clear how foolish it was to hire this man at his age and away from the game for so long. Don't make us hate Marv, he is an icon to us long time fans. Sincerely, Every logical Bills fan this letter should be addressed to Brandon the manipulator Love Marv. But it's literally been a generation since he's last coached. Enjoy your HOF status. No thanks just funnin with us i bet
MarkyMannn Posted December 30, 2016 Posted December 30, 2016 Marv would need an ass coach on the sideline to change his adult diaper Pun intended
Mister Defense Posted December 30, 2016 Posted December 30, 2016 He would bring in the best coaches, run a tight/organized/disciplined ship, and instill a winning attitude and culture into the Bills for the first time since.... Surely he would also choose a few of his former players as key position coaches. Just saying. Shoot, either one of the two presidential candidates would have been almost 80 near the end of their second term, running a country, and leading the free world. This is a just a little ol' football team, a game. I counted him as washed up when the Bills first hired him so I'll never discount what Marv can do to for a team.
gordong Posted December 30, 2016 Posted December 30, 2016 (edited) http://www.newyorkupstate.com/buffalo-bills/index.ssf/2016/12/marv_levy_would_consider_buffalo_bills_head_coaching_job_if_offered.html By far he was the best coach in Bills history, but I don't know if it's a good idea at his age to come back. The sad part he he got out coached ( badly) in every Super Bowl. No thanks Edited December 30, 2016 by gordong
K D Posted December 30, 2016 Posted December 30, 2016 Marv was old 20 years ago when he retired. Coaching this team wouldn't be good for his health No disrespect, hall of fame coach but no thanks
Franchiseneedsme Posted December 30, 2016 Posted December 30, 2016 (edited) I'd be down.... wtfn? Edited December 30, 2016 by Franchiseneedsme
Marv's Neighbor Posted December 30, 2016 Posted December 30, 2016 Would he bring the red helmets beck??
jaclynrea21 Posted December 30, 2016 Posted December 30, 2016 http://www.newyorkupstate.com/buffalo-bills/index.ssf/2016/12/marv_levy_would_consider_buffalo_bills_head_coaching_job_if_offered.html By far he was the best coach in Bills history, but I don't know if it's a good idea at his age to come back. I would love it
Sandy McFiddish Posted December 30, 2016 Posted December 30, 2016 This would be torture for poor Marv. Whomever we hire I would love to poach Schwartz back from Philly for our D, even if we had to pay head coach money.
stevestojan Posted December 30, 2016 Posted December 30, 2016 We ran Thurman 15 times in SB25 despite him averaging NINE yards a carry. Should have fired Marv after that game. We won all those games in the 90s despite Marv, not because of him.

I would love it if I had time to see what kinds of things a person with this kind of analysis has supported and said on this board over the years. Can someone actually believe this, despite the lack of success the Bills have had since? Incomprehensible.
Big Turk Posted December 30, 2016 Posted December 30, 2016 http://www.newyorkupstate.com/buffalo-bills/index.ssf/2016/12/marv_levy_would_consider_buffalo_bills_head_coaching_job_if_offered.html By far he was the best coach in Bills history, but I don't know if it's a good idea at his age to come back. Damn...91! now...holy crap....didn't realize he was that old... We ran Thurman 15 times in SB25 despite him averaging NINE yards a carry. Should have fired Marv after that game. jaclynrea21 Posted December 30, 2016 Posted December 30, 2016 I think we should just go with Lynn for the last game - no need to bring Marv in for that. no for the next head coaching job
somnus00 Posted December 30, 2016 Posted December 30, 2016 Marv picked lil Donte Whitner over Haloti Ngata. That is my response to this topic.
TSOL Posted December 30, 2016 Posted December 30, 2016 You know Jim Kelly called the plays right? Yep, all 6 of them.
