YoloinOhio Posted December 29, 2016 Posted December 29, 2016 (edited) @viccarucci For the past month, #Bills QB Tyrod Taylor has fought thru a severe groin injury that could need more attention in offseason. Stay tuned. The other thread now archived Edited December 29, 2016 by YoloinOhio
Andrew Son Posted December 29, 2016 Posted December 29, 2016 If there is one thing I know about Tyrod, it's that he has all the intangibles you could ever want
Wayne Cubed Posted December 29, 2016 Posted December 29, 2016 (edited) But of course he does. If this is the case, no way they release him with the injury payout. And his groin probably won't be healed by March, I'm sure of that. They might as well pick up option if they are going to be paying him anyways. Edited December 29, 2016 by Wayne Cubed
TheFunPolice Posted December 29, 2016 Posted December 29, 2016 (edited) Everyone is hurt this time of year in the NFL. The more the team's cheerleaders try to sell benching him as anything other than trying to protect themselves from having to pay him if he gets hurt the more embarrassing it is. They should just shut up about it. Say nothing. EJ is starting. It's not a home game, so that's a bonus. I would honestly laugh so freaking hard if Tyrod tries to use the groin issue to force the Bills to pay him. Edited December 29, 2016 by TheFunPolice
YoloinOhio Posted December 29, 2016 Author Posted December 29, 2016 @viccarucci This is as it appears: Tyrod Taylor has entered exit-strategy mode from moment the #Bills informed him he would be benched for Sunday.
Wayne Cubed Posted December 29, 2016 Posted December 29, 2016 Although thinking back, hasn't Tyrod been on the injury report every week since it was first reported?
Bangarang Posted December 29, 2016 Posted December 29, 2016 Does anyone have any idea what's going on? Our interim HC said he did not have a hamstring injury yesterday?
Spurna Posted December 29, 2016 Posted December 29, 2016 Best quarterback the Bills have had since Kelly Bills are idiots

Makes perfect sense. If you are Tyrod you probably view this as a slap in the face. After the best game of your life, where you played injured, led a 14 point comeback, took the lead with a minute left, THEN drove the team right down to score in OT: "We're not sure you're good enough to pay you the contract you signed last spring, so we're benching you to make sure you don't get hurt so we can decide later." I would say "F this joke of a team" if I were him. He's going to have options. There are some truly awful starting QBs in the NFL. Edited December 29, 2016 by TheFunPolice
baskingridgebillsfan Posted December 29, 2016 Posted December 29, 2016 Oh my this will really confuse Sully
Blokestradamus Posted December 29, 2016 Posted December 29, 2016 Anita Marks scooped all of Buffalo media. It seems maybe even the medical staff Couldn't make this **** up.
LabattBlue Posted December 29, 2016 Posted December 29, 2016 Unless his groin injury in a bizarre way keeps him from throwing the ball from the pocket in under 3 seconds, it is irrelevant.
Dorkington Posted December 29, 2016 Posted December 29, 2016 So who decides if Taylor is injured enough to receive his injury payout?
Mr. WEO Posted December 29, 2016 Posted December 29, 2016 Everyone is hurt this time of year in the NFL. YoloinOhio Posted December 29, 2016 Author Posted December 29, 2016 Although thinking back, hasn't Tyrod been on the injury report every week since it was first reported?yes @salsports There was an ESPN podcast a while back where @AnitaMarks said Taylor was fighting thru a groin injury. He denied it at the time.... ...but the team listed him on injury report shortly after with a groin injury but a full participant. Been there pretty much ever since... ...But he started every game and never even missed a practice until now, two days after being sat for financial reasons.
BaaadThingsMan Posted December 29, 2016 Posted December 29, 2016 Hahaha and now the media has switched their stories from not good enough, to good enough, whats the problem, in regards to TT.
TheFunPolice Posted December 29, 2016 Posted December 29, 2016 Tyrod is a middle of the pack QB IMO. He gives you lots of plays with his legs, but lacks some of the routine passing game. Although last week he was hitting Clay all over the field. He does not turn the ball over. He makes big plays, but he also misses some easy stuff. All that said, we were a FG away from playing for the Wild Card this weekend. Kicker makes a FG, people are euphoric, Rex is coaching this week, and probably not fireable this season, especially if they beat the Jets to go 9-7. If they somehow made it in Rex would be a made man for life in Buffalo for breaking the drought. 3 feet away from being legendary. Instead, fired. QB benched. Isn't life funny that way?

You really believe the kicker is the reason why this team is not in the playoffs or at least still alive in week 17? LOL
YoloinOhio Posted December 29, 2016 Author Posted December 29, 2016 @yardsperpass Tyrod's agent deserves a raise after this "groin injury surgery" #Leverage
TPS Posted December 29, 2016 Posted December 29, 2016 @viccarucci This is as it appears: Tyrod Taylor has entered exit-strategy mode from moment the #Bills informed him he would be benched for Sunday. A lot of emotions at the moment. Give it a month or two...
