I know he runs the spread and has had a terrific season at Penn State but looking at his resume the only NFL experience I can find is a year as the receivers coach in Green Bay - that would be a worry for me.

I wouldn't at all be surprised if the Pegulas were interested in Franklin. I thought that Whaley was leading the search however...
