Green Lightning Posted January 1, 2017 Posted January 1, 2017 My expectations of Lynn today wasn't a win - not with EJ at the helm - but at least it not devolving into a clown show. I was disappointed.
26CornerBlitz Posted January 1, 2017 Posted January 1, 2017 @viccarucci Anthony Lynn proceeding as if he'll become the #Bills' full-time coach. NEW at [bN] Blitz: https://t.co/WQWaL4D6o1
jahnyc Posted January 2, 2017 Author Posted January 2, 2017 La Canfora's most recent tweet about the Bills suggests the Bills are finalizing things with Lynn. Have not heard a peep about potential head coaching candidates that are scheduled to meet with the Bills while other teams have interviews scheduled with potential candidates.
YoloinOhio Posted January 2, 2017 Posted January 2, 2017 @pfcentral Whaley pushing hard for a quick head coaching search after yesterdays game. Talking contract with Lynn now as of 12:27 pm no deal is final

Peter Posted January 2, 2017 Posted January 2, 2017 I think that Lynn has leverage here given how this job may be perceived. If Lynn were to reject Whaley, that would really highlight a lot of the negatives that people may perceive about this job and trying to work with Whaley.

If Lynn were to reject Whaley, that would really highlight a lot of the negatives that people may perceive about this job and trying to work with Whaley. And if Lynn takes the job, is Whaley ok then? There is the idea that the Broncos job is, unexpectedly, open with Kubiak hanging it up. Who knows? Elway and Lynn played together on 2 Super Bowl teams...in other words, Lynn could turn down the job, because the Denver job is better for him.
CardinalScotts Posted January 2, 2017 Posted January 2, 2017 Maybe because Whaley is the GM. And now finally gets to pick his coach after 4 years of being on job. Wow what disfunction to have your GM hire a coach And yet 3 names have already been reported to Be on Bills list. Yeah fix is in every owner picks their coach....find one that didnt

That is another reason why Doug will be desperate and Lynn has leverage. As I have posted before, unless a guy has few or no other options or the Pegulas overpay, I just do not see working with Doug (given his history) as desirable
baskingridgebillsfan Posted January 2, 2017 Posted January 2, 2017 why is the fix in ? If whaley wants Lynn then so be it. If the move blows up then the Whaley haters get their wish and everyone is gone in a year or two. If it works out you can cheer up it means the team is improving
YoloinOhio Posted January 2, 2017 Posted January 2, 2017 What is pfcentral? Is it reputable?twitter account for profootballcentral.com. I take everything with a grain of salt, just depends on how large of a grain
