Actually, we know EJ is not worth keeping. Starting EJ is an admission that Cardale, after a full year on the roster, is not yet capable of playing an NFL game. THAT is an inditement of Whaleys draft for Cardale. Seems to me Cardale should be ready for a developmental game...and if not, xxxxx!!! Why was he, drafted at all then?

After watching Prescott, I agree. I'm pretty surprised that they don't think he's ready to play a game against a bad team at this point.

*Indictment. But anyways...

Everyone knew Jones was extremely raw when he was drafted. He has been given nothing but 3rd string reps at best. From a recent spot on WGR last week, it was said that he was basically Red Shirted this year, given a "Watch and Learn" program and didnt even get snaps during practices but rather a 15-30 minute advisory meeting after practice.

The non-development of Jones this year is COMPLETELY on the coaching staff. Rex, Lynn, and David Lee. All of which need to go if the Bills ever want to get serious about developing a QB.

I've mentioned this numerous times in other threads, but I'll point it out again.

The Cowboys coaching staff is built around QB development. The HC, OC, and QB coach are all former NFL QBs, and all former Cowboy QBs.

We have a D-based HC and a RB coach who both want to Ground and Pound, and a failed QB coach...

Our situation in Buffalo is more on par with the Rams when it comes to QB development, and they can't even get anything out of the #1 overall pick.

Because NOT playing him means they are worried about losing their flexibility to move on.

If they were sold on him he plays and gets more reps that every supporter of his said he still needs

Not with the injury stipulation in the contract.

So exactly like we see with another QB after a Mia game?

So i will be getting yelled at by two chuches when i say that they Are not good enough

i mean, i thought tyrod was great after SEA too. im sorry the D can't stop Jimmy making one-handed TD catches in their kitchen. or him throwing 228 and 2/1 vs Pitt and the D letting Bell run for 236 and 3 TDs. Along with MIA rushing over 200 yards...again.

there's three wins. we're 10-5 right now if the D does its job.

one day you'll have the blame in the right place. DE-FENSE.

Take the Pitt game out please. Tyrod had 70 yards passing thru 3 qtrs. That's a loss jack.

So if they were sold on him like i said they would still be worried about the INJ stipulation. No they wouldnt be

Wait pitt QB had the ball in his hands to win a gAme he did it.

Ours didnt so blame defense got it.

And again dont know how many times i have to say it defense is a problem and needs to be addressed. THAT DOESNT MEAN the QB is not a problem

As I've said elsewhere, saying that taylor didn't lead a 4th quarter comeback against Miami is flat-out sophistry. Don't make this argument. Please. Please.

so you're telling that if we get the exact same 2016 production out of our offense/TT, and our D was still 4th JUST LIKE REX INHERITED, we would still be in the same situation at 7-8? no !@#$ing way. you know how you help Tyrod's ability to have to pull off a game winning drive? stop letting up points in the final minutes and make him bail your ass out in the first place.

Your right he didnt have the ball in his hands twice in OT your right lol

Simple is his play a problem. Can you win multiple SBs with TT?

And, the cap is whaley's mess.

Actually that would be Overdorf's mess, compounded by Rex's need to change the roster to implement his "genius" D scheme. If you have to diss Whaley, at least restrict it to the areas under his authority.

whoa, multiple SB WINS!?!??! so you want a Bills QB to achieve a feat that's only been done by 11 QBs in NFL history. you want him to go from no playoffs in 17 years to MULTIPLE SB wins. that's so delusional i can't even address it.

This is a reasonable take. No way they have completely moved off Tyrod as much as some would like.

I REALLY hope this is the thinking. It terrifies me that the front office may be as reactionary as the fans these days and want to toss Tyrod to the curb with no better option. Tyrod and even an average D would be in the playoffs this year. How do so many people seem to miss this?

??? The freaking kicker missed a kick most kickers don't miss in OT after the Bills moved down the field. And the second time they had it, they started at the 2. Give it a rest, man - you're digging an even deeper hole.

Don't have crayons to draw you the necessary picture you need to understand Boooby....

Got it cool.

Can you dispute Ball in Tyrods hand twice in OT for the win And well wasnt clutch?
