stony Posted December 27, 2016 Posted December 27, 2016 Yes. Much much better draft choice in April What's the bump?
nucci Posted December 27, 2016 Posted December 27, 2016 How many GMs get to hire 3 coaches in 5 years? Not many, that's for damn sure. Brandon hired Marrone and Pegula's Ryan
CountDorkula Posted December 27, 2016 Posted December 27, 2016 Playing with street free agents and without your best players at significant times (injuries and suspensions) is not what I would call a fair way to judge a guy. oh ok, how about continually unprepared team on game day. Complete lack of in game awareness letting 5? 200 yard rushers A defense that continued to regress oh and he promised that this team would be a top NFL defense.
Slack_in_MA Posted December 27, 2016 Posted December 27, 2016 Thanks for your efforts, Rex, but as Dirty Harry said, "A man's got to know his limitations". Next...
Peter Posted December 27, 2016 Posted December 27, 2016 my god this is full ....I need to copy and paste Toms script! I'm judged by my job all the damn time and I ain't ****. Every year a heavy review with 3 of my superiors. Every month financial reviews of what my departments have done. Every quarter efficiency reports. Every week safety reports. What do you do that you're not held responsible for quality ?!?! Why are you so obsessed with this sack of **** rex Ryan? What has he done to show you he has something to offer you! I am judged every day by clients and judge people who work for me. I also judge fairly and take into consideration all factors without adopting a pathological obsession to fire someone etc.
Pirate Angel Posted December 27, 2016 Posted December 27, 2016 Dennis Thurman will be gone in the off season as well...no way a new HC keeps a Rex coordinator. . They need a 4-3 coordinator
LabattBlue Posted December 27, 2016 Posted December 27, 2016 (edited) It is kind of nuts that Whaley is conducting the HC search. After Marrone and Rex, you would have thought the Pegulas would retain a consultant to help with them the football side of things. You do know that Pegula with the urging of Brandon, hired Rex, correct? Edited December 27, 2016 by LabattBlue
DriveFor1Outta5 Posted December 27, 2016 Posted December 27, 2016 And Schefter reported Bills to start EJ. Yeah, that makes no sense. Doug still thinks EJ can be the guy? If that's true Doug is an idiot who really need to go. If this happens it shows me there isn't much to look forward to with this team as long as Whaley is around.
34-78-83 Posted December 27, 2016 Posted December 27, 2016 @RapSheet The #Bills will have OC Anthony Lynn as interim coach. He’s a big-time candidate for the full-time job. GM Doug Whaley will lead the search Glad to hear both of those items. Hope they are true

The Bills have made a major mistake, and the fans and media should be ashamed of themselves! LOL
Boatdrinks Posted December 27, 2016 Posted December 27, 2016 It is kind of nuts that Whaley is conducting the HC search. After Marrone and Rex, you would have thought the Pegulas would retain a consultant to help with them the football side of things. It's pretty standard procedure in the NFL. The GM hires the HC. Whaley is next on the hot seat. He got what he wanted (Rex's dismissal) now he's got to get it right. The Pegulas will sign off on his choice, but Waley will sink or swim with the results.
26CornerBlitz Posted December 27, 2016 Posted December 27, 2016 And Schefter reported Bills to start EJ. Yeah, that makes no sense. Doug still thinks EJ can be the guy? They don't want to risk Tyrod getting injured and be on the hook for his contract extension.
Sisyphean Bills Posted December 27, 2016 Posted December 27, 2016 Brandon hired Marrone and Pegula's Ryan You're slicing it far too thin. Whaley was deeply, over his head deeply, involved in these hires. You're kidding yourself if you think anything else.

Complete lack of in game awareness letting 5? 200 yard rushers A defense that continued to regress oh and he promised that this team would be a top NFL defense. Injuries, suspensions, and street free agents great recipe for success. Congratulations. You should be pleased. You got what you and others so obsessively wanted.
BringBackOrton Posted December 27, 2016 Posted December 27, 2016 Whaley the snake pushing for EJ and throwing Rex under the bus. Always was trying to play EJ over superior QB's. Drain the SWAMP.
Peter Posted December 27, 2016 Posted December 27, 2016 ...and the Pom Pom Peter has spoken. The Bills have made a major mistake, and the fans and media should be ashamed of themselves! LOL How old are you?
BringBackOrton Posted December 27, 2016 Posted December 27, 2016 Injuries, suspensions, and street free agents great recipe for success. Congratulations. You should be pleased. You got what you and others so obsessively wanted. We are. It's a great day as long as Whaley follows him out the door.
nucci Posted December 27, 2016 Posted December 27, 2016 You're slicing it far too thin. Whaley was deeply, over his head deeply, involved in these hires. You're kidding yourself if you think anything else. Maybe I am but if that's the case why isn't Whaley fired also?
stony Posted December 27, 2016 Posted December 27, 2016 They don't want to risk Tyrod getting injured and be on the hook for his contract extension. Yup. Just saw that. Makes sense.
NoSaint Posted December 27, 2016 Posted December 27, 2016 Is starting an unprepared QB a smart long-term move for the franchise? start ej for all i care but starting a guy that if injured you are locked to for 2-3 years against the front offices will is entirely wrong.
