Saint Doug Posted December 27, 2016 Posted December 27, 2016 Hmmmm I said this was a done deal 3 weeks ago.... I'm pretty sure 85% of the posters on here said it would happen last year.
nucci Posted December 27, 2016 Posted December 27, 2016 Good news. I like doing it now, they can get a jump on candidates, as well as bringing in a "Czar". Just let your GM do his job...If not Whaley then someone else...too many levels in FO
LabattBlue Posted December 27, 2016 Posted December 27, 2016 If Lynn becomes head coach, I think Tyrod stays. Will be interesting to see if cardale or Tyrod start now. Whaley should be the next that's shown the door. Imagine Bob Ryan and Rex's other cronies will be fir d today too. With 20 coaches, they can afford to fire a few anyway Ummm...wouldn't that include Lynn?
bobobonators Posted December 27, 2016 Posted December 27, 2016 I wish it would've worked, but it didn't. He was brought here as a defensive guru and this defense was an abomination. For that reason alone, he has to go.
Peter Posted December 27, 2016 Posted December 27, 2016 The Rex Haters here and in media had their pathogical obsession fulfilled. Congratulations. In this holiday season, I hope that you are not judged in your own jobs and life with the same pathological obsession . . . . P.S. Doug Whaley - you are the last man on the bus. There is no other person to throw under the bus. Good luck. Go Bills!
Manther Posted December 27, 2016 Posted December 27, 2016 http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/bills-fire-rex-ryan-after-another-disappointing-season/
Juice_32 Posted December 27, 2016 Posted December 27, 2016 Interesting they marched him out there for a PC yesterday. Oh well, he ruined our D, after claiming that they "underachieved" under the Schwartz. Bye bye blow hard.
Virgil Posted December 27, 2016 Posted December 27, 2016 Though I am not unhappy he is gone, I do feel a little bad that it happened this way. Agreed. Everyone wanted him to succeed. Everyone wants everyone to succeed on the team. It's not personal. It just wasn't the answer and many are happy for hope.
BringBackOrton Posted December 27, 2016 Posted December 27, 2016 1 year too late. The Rex Haters here and in media had their pathogical obsession fulfilled. Congratulations. In this holiday season, I hope that you are not judged in your own jobs and life with the same pathological obsession . . . . P.S. Doug Whaley - you are the last man on the bus. There is no other person to throw under the bus. Good luck. Go Bills! It's the greatest Christmas present the Bills have ever gotten!
YoloinOhio Posted December 27, 2016 Posted December 27, 2016 @sbnationNFL Some Bills players have said that Rex gave too much of the defensive authority to his brother Rob
TANK2 Posted December 27, 2016 Posted December 27, 2016 Should have never been hired in the first place. If Russ Brandon had a hand in convincing the Pegulas to hire Rex he needs to go to.
boyst Posted December 27, 2016 Posted December 27, 2016 Continuity!!!!!!! Jk, rex you fat sack of ****!

There is no other person to throw under the bus. Good luck. Go Bills! russ brandon. also the coach under-performed two years in a row with the weapons to be a playoff team. also, my own job and life aren't in the public eye and a form of highly publicized expensive paid entertainment.
Heitz Posted December 27, 2016 Posted December 27, 2016 Though I am not unhappy he is gone, I do feel a little bad that it happened this way. Me too, like Yolo said earlier somewhere, I liked Rex as a person, but his system wasn't getting it done... I'll hold off on the excitement until there is any evidence the selection process and FO dynamic will show any improvement compared to the last 17 years. And this, obviously is is the key!
