Thats it. One against a 3rd string rookie QB and another against a Jets team that the Bills had ZERO pressure to win. So technically only 1 win.

This is the biggest reason why Rex should not be coach here next year. His ability to win against high caliber teams...he can't do it.

Look at every single win from the last year and this year, not ONE impressive win. We only beat teams that are either just as miserable as us or even worse. We are nowhere close to becoming a playoff team. Playoff teams have a few victories against other playoff teams.

Its over folks.

What was the avg margin of those losses? Close games are largely luck, and 2 years isn't enough time to weed out the variance...he could easily go on a ten win run in close games going forward (not holding my breath, just saying.

Just off the top - didn't we sweep the jets last year that had a winning record, then Houston last year, Patcheats this year, so there's 4 games without putting much thought into it.

Sorry, no. Many of our "close" games were lost in the 3rd Q (or sooner), and we caught up in garbage time. Our stats are WAY better than we actually are.

Wow, thought it was more than that. Two!

Ryan is a horrible head coach, never beats the good coaches, the good teams.

His (not for long) team is as undisciplined and unprepared on defense as he is.

Adios, hopefully tomorrow, giving Lynn a quick shot for the last game, to see if can instill some discipline, organization, and identity in the (talented) hapless Bills defense.

No suspense now; so, Monday. Please!

What does having a schitty defense for two years do to those averages? Edited by PromoTheRobot

Absolutely, but the 2000 Ravens had 6 close games (7 or fewer points). Granted only like one or two of those were over 20 points (product of bad offense most likely, so might be a bad example).
