You said this:

To which I replied a million illegals and tons of narcotics coming across the border constitutes a security risk.

Nothing there about tariffs, bot.

That wasn't the issue under discussion you thieving dishonsest fool.

We were talking tariffs on Mexico as a National Security threat and not illegal immigration and drug trafficking. Don't conflate the issues.

One last time. Do you think that it is a good thing for national security that we have no steel industry here in the U.S.? Do you think we should rely on China to produce inferior steel and then dump it on us after they have heavily subsidized it? I say no to both of those questions. Obama did too when he set tariffs on Chinese steel. Do you think that it is ok for Canada and Mexico to skirt around those tariffs by basically being a middleman for China? Should we be using inferior steel here in the U.S. for our buildings, retaining walls, military equipment and the like?

Say what you mean, bot, lest anyone think you're anything other than an idiot.

Mexico not a security risk.

We already know that that's exactly what you are as you proved by saying the American left is a bigger threat to National Security that Russia.  Pure stupidity of an ideological fool.

Oh but it is. Only one of the two (russia, and linguini-spined leftists) made a VALIANT effort to attempt to overthrow the legally elected president of the United States.

Yes, that's right, bot. YOUR president, attempted to be removed by leftists. Talk about party over country.

Actually you conflated the issues here:

You have no point and your retort was typically weak as neither Canada nor Mexico pose any National Security Ri sk [sic].  Anything to defend the moron at 1600 .

Then you doubled down on the point leveraging an ad hom attack against another poster, dismissing a very clean rebuttal of a point you just lost, by labeling him alt-right.

So, to summarize quickly:

1.  The board records the things you post.  It's best not to proceed as if you didn't introduce a concept yourself when the boards history indicates that you did.

2.  You were wrong.

Finally, yes, it the production of domestic steel is a national security issue, just as much as energy independence is.

That has been an issue since the 1970s along with the ridiculous theft of US IP.  China is an altogether different illegal actor which is why I didn not mention them.

Oh REALLY?

Which of the two put forth a now-documented-to-be-false dossier cooked up by a FOREIGN INTELLIGENCE AGENT with the sole goal of hobbling (at worst) or removing (at best) a duly and legally elected president?

hint, it wasn't the russians.

JoeCrapPack introduced immigration and drugs into the conversation as a shift whe the subject was tariffs. Pay attention.

The steel industry is coming back to the level of the 1960s and earlier and it's funny that your President doeen't insist on US Steel be used when constructing his own buildings with his name written all over them.

Hint: The CI probe into Russian meddling didn't begin with the Dossier.  Keep spouting.

Well, we finally did something about it and then Canada and Mexico tried to help China skirt around it. That's why Canada and Mexico got tariffs slapped on them. Actually everyone got tariffs slapped on them but those that were treating us fairly got exempted from them. Canada and Mexico were !@#$ing with us and didn't get exempted.

Whichever one fills his twitter feed the most, I'd imagine.

What's amazing to me is that there are people so partisan that they won't even consider other points of view, even ones backed by facts.

Canada has their own Steel and Aluminum industries regardless of the Trump line you're trying to sell here.

I guess you conveniently forgot that the shenanigans were going on in 2016. They most likely started in April 2016, well before Trump could appoint anyone.

Well he has his own people in now in Wray and Rosenstein who have continued to stand behind the ongoing investigation 100%.

Don't be stupid, and stop spouting liberal asshattery.

Strategic resources ARE a national security issue.
