Since there are many parties, any government will have to align themselves with other parties to form a government. Netanyahu has historically formed a coalition with the ultra religious to maintain his power and that’s why i personally don’t like him. I don’t think it’s healthy to have the same leader for so long which is why I made the comment. So there's nothing inherently undemocratic about it. Got it.

It seems a bit like the Democrats in this country. "My guy couldn't get it done, so it must be antidemocratic."

It would be a catastrophe. Houthis are claiming to have taken a fifth the Saudi Army off the board, and as many as a third of their AFVs. That's ridiculous. At best, Houthis are exaggerating wildly.

As I recall, DoD public relations never went out of their way to correct Baghdad Bob, either. Some nonsense, you just don't address, because you just add credibility if you do.

Then you can see Bill Richardson in the background, fidgeting with the trap, wondering why it didn't work, and it snapping shut on him. Not to mention, Nancy Pelosi's ensuing statement that "President Trump should be impeached for lying about it being a burger, because it was actually a cheese burger. 1 1
ALF Posted October 1, 2019 Posted October 1, 2019 Looks like a Bagdhdad Bob announcement , but something of note.

Tiberius Posted October 2, 2019 Posted October 2, 2019 Trump congratulates China’s communist regime. He loves rulers with absolute power, not democratically elected ones. The poor people of Hong Kong are not going to get support from this monster https://www.nationalreview.com/corner/while-trump-congratulates-communist-china-on-its-70th-anniversary-senate-republicans-condemn-it/ Trump wants money and political dirty tricks from them
B-Man Posted October 2, 2019 Posted October 2, 2019 To fair to Trump, he is the first president in decades to stand up to China, albeit on trade, theft of intellectual property, etc. rather than human rights. He has done so at considerable political risk. For this, Trump deserves great credit. And unlike U.S. Senators, Trump has to deal with China. He’s trying hard to strike a trade agreement that would serve American interests. But congratulating a murderous regime that’s the antithesis of everything America stands for is going too far. Silence would have been vastly preferable. And of course, the critics of President Trump just ignore that Secretary of State Hillary Clinton did the same thing. @HillaryClinton on behalf of @BarackObama. https://2009-2017.state.gov/secretary/20092013clinton/rm/2011/09/174821.htm … That is not one of your silly "whataboutisms" , but an actual example of the broad hypocrisy of the Left. . 1
