C.Biscuit97 Posted December 22, 2016 Posted December 22, 2016 Michael Thomas and Noah Spence would be solid picks for us in a redo Does Brees come with Thomas? Otherwise, he'd be Justin Hunter here.
starrymessenger Posted December 22, 2016 Posted December 22, 2016 So the positive spin: According to Bucky, the Bills drafted two first round quality players. Of course one of them has not seen the field so that is a bit speculative. And, I would say that at times, Lawson has looked like a first-round pick--the potential is certainly there, give him a full season and I do think he will live up to his draft status. Thus, all indications are these first three 2016 picks were good selections and give they give Bills hope on the defensive side of the ball. I like Washington. I think he will develop nicely. Would have preferred Dak in the third tho. No brainer in retrospect.
YoloinOhio Posted December 22, 2016 Posted December 22, 2016 (edited) Adolphus was projected by some as a late 1st round pick early in the 2015 season, the DL depth in the draft and his arrest prior to the bowl game pushed him down. He had considered declaring as a junior and may have gone higher if he did. Edited December 22, 2016 by YoloinOhio
Coach Tuesday Posted December 22, 2016 Posted December 22, 2016 Adolphus was projected by some as a late 1st round pick early in the 2015 season, the DL depth in the draft and his arrest prior to the bowl game pushed him down. He had considered declaring as a junior and may have gone higher if he did. He gets blown off the line and lines up or jumps offsides way too often for my liking. He might well develop into a good player but I've been very unimpressed to date.
John from Riverside Posted December 22, 2016 Posted December 22, 2016 Was Buckner there for us at that pick? A quality kid....met him with my son when we were up visiting the team before their championship game
26CornerBlitz Posted December 22, 2016 Author Posted December 22, 2016 Was Buckner there for us at that pick? A quality kid....met him with my son when we were up visiting the team before their championship game Nope. SF took him at #7.
John from Riverside Posted December 22, 2016 Posted December 22, 2016 Nope. SF took him at #7. So the point of this article is? If we were picking at 7 we might have gone a lot of different directions
Dorkington Posted December 22, 2016 Posted December 22, 2016 I heard Whaley was the only GM to miss on Dak.

He's alright as a rotational player but still a lot of the same Adolphus he was his senior year.
Bill from NYC Posted December 22, 2016 Posted December 22, 2016 For all the fire Whaley people, the Bills have 2 of Bucky's 1st rders on their roster. Whaley knows talent. If this is the case he should make better use of it rather than tossing away our draft picks and cap space.
BuffaloHokie13 Posted December 22, 2016 Posted December 22, 2016 Ragland made the list? Why? He blew out his knee before the season started...
YoloinOhio Posted December 22, 2016 Posted December 22, 2016 (edited) Ragland made the list? Why? He blew out his knee before the season started...it is a re-draft. So referring to what each team should have done back in May, as he didn't get hurt until August. Not taking injuries that happened post-draft into account since they may not have occurred given different circumstances - who should each team have taken? Edited December 22, 2016 by YoloinOhio

YoloinOhio Posted December 22, 2016 Posted December 22, 2016 (edited) Regardless, he's a complete unknown at this level of play. Surely someone out there has proven worth more than a giant ? i believe it is based on what the team could have used looking back at their season, and he was projected as a 1st round talent at MLB. Similarly, Bills could have used Buckner since we didn't have Dareus for so much of the season and also lost Mario (he's very versatile on the DL)... it's just a lot of hindsight Edited December 22, 2016 by YoloinOhio
MAJBobby Posted December 22, 2016 Posted December 22, 2016 So Bucky doesnt take Shaq in first but takes a LBer yet to play a football game because of an ACL in Ragland. Ok.
DrDawkinstein Posted December 22, 2016 Posted December 22, 2016 So the point of this article is? If we were picking at 7 we might have gone a lot of different directions In the re-draft as a whole, he does not get picked so early, and therefore would be our pick in this fantasy.
YoloinOhio Posted December 22, 2016 Posted December 22, 2016 So Bucky doesnt take Shaq in first but takes a LBer yet to play a football game because of an ACL in Ragland. Ok. the way I read it, I would guess it's because Shaq's injury occurred before the draft and Ragland was not injured at time of the draft.
I'm Spartacus Posted December 22, 2016 Posted December 22, 2016 Bills redraft: Licatta from U.B., round #1
mannc Posted December 22, 2016 Posted December 22, 2016 I don't think Bucky Brooks has actually seen Adolphus Washington play... He definitely has not seen Reggie Ragland play, at least not in the NFL.
