I haven't heard his name mentioned this past week by anyone at OBD.

Is this even a real thing?

i don't think he's being considered for HC. I do think the Pegulas may hire him into another role.

Told Bills ownership hasn't spoken to Tom Coughlin since before last season began. And that there are no plans to do that - as of right now.

More evidence of bs national reporting. It ain't just the locals :-)

From my recollection Rex was the impetus behind trying to get Coughlin into the Bills' organization. I have a feeling that it was Whaley who was against this move as it likely would have weakened his position at OBD. With the Bills now looking for a new HC, there's no way that he's on the list with Whaley running the search.

This sort of confirms my thinking.

So far, #Bills haven't reached out to Tom Coughlin & it doesn't appear likely to happen w Doug Whaley leading the search, I'm told.

@KyleBeachkyle21 Lynn is in the lead, but Whaley is not excited about him. Coughlin is a fav of the Pegulas. Reich is actually a possibility

Watch out for this Chenelly cat. He's got sources.

I'm really wary of Coughlin. I hope that isn't the direction Whaley goes.

Is Reich a disciplinarian?

This makes sense. IMO, Coughlin fits best as football "czar," and first order of business would be to fire Whaley.

I honestly think Coughlin is not a bad choice. He's 70, but I think he's a young 70 who was cursed by terrible luck on the injury front his final two years in NY. It was like a MASH unit there.

Wrong Jay! Couglin is a coach not a front office guy.

He is only a coach, but he's also a Parcells guy and will want to shop for the groceries too. He had a lot of power in Jax. That's not to say that he can't get along with a powerful GM (Accorsi).

Chenelly has become the first person I seek out for news/predictions the past year or two

Road sodas is not happy about this. Has anyone seen or heard from Leroi since Rex was fired?
