simpleman Posted December 19, 2016 Posted December 19, 2016 The past few games the bright spot I keep noticing is how well Felton and McCoy seem to be working together. I wondered if anyone else has been impressed with Felton the past few games. Is it just me, or does he really seem to be a shining contributor to our run game recently? Watching the games on TV it is hard to really follow his play. Has anyone with All 22 ever noticed his play? I'm curious just how much an impact he really has been having.
H2o Posted December 19, 2016 Posted December 19, 2016 Felton has always been an excellent FB. He created lanes for AP up in Minny and he's doing the same here for Shady. Roman didn't know how to utilize him, but Lynn has definitely changed that.
Blokestradamus Posted December 19, 2016 Posted December 19, 2016 Shady said it best last week. Defenders see Felton in the hole and run out of it. Jerome is mean.
klos63 Posted December 19, 2016 Posted December 19, 2016 I think he's been exceptional all season long. After not looking terribly effective last season, he has dominated this year. Glad we brought him back after the 'Gronk' experiment.
26CornerBlitz Posted December 19, 2016 Posted December 19, 2016 (edited) I think he's been exceptional all season long. After not looking terribly effective last season, he has dominated this year. Glad we brought him back after the 'Gronk' experiment. Â Would have been nice to have him opening holes in week one against the Ravens. Edited December 19, 2016 by 26CornerBlitz
Doc Posted December 19, 2016 Posted December 19, 2016 I can't believe Shady's 12 rushing TDs are a team record. I'd figure Thurman or OJ would have had more.
26CornerBlitz Posted December 19, 2016 Posted December 19, 2016 I can't believe Shady's 12 rushing TDs are a team record. I'd figure Thurman or OJ would have had more. Â I'm almost certain that OJ's 1975 season total was higher.
Blokestradamus Posted December 19, 2016 Posted December 19, 2016 I can't believe Shady's 12 rushing TDs are a team record. I'd figure Thurman or OJ would have had more. Â 27 total rushing TD's is a franchise record. OJ had 16 alone in 1975, not sure what the single-season rush TD record is though.
Santana Posted December 19, 2016 Posted December 19, 2016 Yeah Felton is doing an excellent job this year all together. You're right though, the past few weeks he's been playing extremely well.
Blokestradamus Posted December 19, 2016 Posted December 19, 2016 Made these GIFs for a Bills Wire piece, thought I might as well share them here. The 3rd one is my favourite.  https://gfycat.com/TameShinyIguana  https://gfycat.com/QuickInfiniteConey  https://gfycat.com/ScarceGoldenBlackrussianterrier
Bleeding Bills Blue Posted December 19, 2016 Posted December 19, 2016 I liked seeing some offset I-formation runs, misdirection. Get felton moving with a full head of steam.
Nanker Posted December 19, 2016 Posted December 19, 2016 OJ had 12 in 1973 and 16 in 1975. http://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/S/SimpO.00.htm Thurman's highest year was 1990 when he scored 11. http://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/T/ThomTh00.htm http://www.pro-football-reference.com/leaders/rush_td_single_season.htm Shady had 17 in 2011.
bobobonators Posted December 19, 2016 Posted December 19, 2016 I can't believe Shady's 12 rushing TDs are a team record. I'd figure Thurman or OJ would have had more. This offense has the Bils record for team rushing TDs. Not the individual player. Helps to have your QB rush for 6 TD's as well.
Reed83HOF Posted December 19, 2016 Posted December 19, 2016 I can't believe Shady's 12 rushing TDs are a team record. I'd figure Thurman or OJ would have had more. Not enough balls to go around for Thurman...

In that 1975 Season, OJ also had 7 receiving TD's - the screen pass behind the electric company was a weapon.
