HardyBoy Posted December 18, 2016 Posted December 18, 2016 Damn, got excited thinking they were going to go ultra analytical, though I do think Whaley is better at finding value players than most (I think Rex's d values safeties more than most, so lack of depth at safety might be due to it being a drastic change in blueprint (Whaley seems to identify players several years before he gets them))...I am curious how the Browns rebuild over the next few years.
BillsVet Posted December 18, 2016 Posted December 18, 2016 Funny because you're the one talking "drain the swamp" as if it's all wrong. What'd Russ have to eat at the game today?
purple haze Posted December 18, 2016 Posted December 18, 2016 I touched on this in the other thread. I do realize that depth is a problem for everyone, but the Bills strike me as worse than other teams. As for the backup safeties, as soon as williams went down the next guy sucked (and the next guy and the next guy). Just look at the past three drafts. Where are the difference makers? There are none this season, although when healthy Sammy obviously is one. http://www.pro-football-reference.com/teams/buf/draft.htm They strike you as worse because you are a Bills fan. Most fan bases complain about depth and draft picks.
