Blokestradamus Posted December 16, 2016 Posted December 16, 2016 Slow and not facing elite competition in college. No way in hell is he 1st round. He's 6'3, 218. A 4.52 isn't "slow" and I'd honestly expect him to run closer to 4.45 with a really good 10-split. Not to mention, he's proven capable against the Michigan State secondary twice in his career.
P51 Posted December 16, 2016 Posted December 16, 2016 So you cherry pick 3 players. Two of them are marginal and the other was drafted in round 6 as your justification to spend a valuable number 1 on someone from small school that quite frankly is a bit slow. Seems like all your draft guys want to be the cool guy in the room that find the diamond in rhe rough but fail far more often than succeed. Just my opinion though. Kind of like all those Alabama guys that work out, Trent Richardson and Dee Milliner certainly help prove that going big school is a sure fire way to hit in the draft!! That 4.59-4.71 slow 40 time was ultimately what did Jerry Rice in, still cant believe the 9ers wasted a high pick on him, that pesky game speed is completely over rated, its all about straight line speed in a track gear, when will teams get the memo... Fine print: Corey Davis is my #1 rated WR at this time.
