Guest K-GunJimKelly12 Posted December 15, 2016 Posted December 15, 2016 My apologies if already posted but I didn't see it if so. Some guys got together to do a Bills playoff drought draft. Pretty funny and sad at the same time. http://buffalonews.com/2016/12/14/relive-17-years-sadness-bills-playoff-drought-draft/
Manther Posted December 15, 2016 Posted December 15, 2016 Agreed, pretty funny and sad at the same time! However, as bad as losing to that Steelers team week 17 with their backups.....I believe many of those backups did become excellent players in the NFL and some potential HOFers. But, still their backups kept us out of the playoffs. Overall, very entertaining. Once again, funny and sad.
KD in CA Posted December 15, 2016 Posted December 15, 2016 Best idea ever! I agree with Jay's draft strategy; terrible draft picKs drive the sadness engine far more than any single game. Losman (multiple picks), Whitner, EJ, Spiller, McCargo (another trade up!). That is a murders row of how to kill a franchise for decades. And they absolutely got the #1 pick correct. There shouldn't even be a debate. The Steeler game is over-drafted; they were a 15-1 team with guys like Willie Parker on the bench. That game was no surprise. Here's their starting line up that day -- look at that defense. Tommy Maddox QB Duce Staley RB Lee Mays WR Hines Ward FL Antwaan Randle El SE Jerame Tuman TE Marvel Smith LT Alan Faneca LG Jeff Hartings C Keydrick Vincent RG Oliver Ross RT Kimo von Oelhoffen DE Aaron Smith DE Chris Hoke NT James Harrison LOLB James Farrior LILB Larry Foote RILB Joey Porter ROLB Willie Williams LCB Chad Scott RCB Troy Polamalu SS Chris Hope FS
