Are we never going to have him for a full season and training camp?
John from Riverside Posted December 15, 2016 Posted December 15, 2016 I honestly would shut him down and get him completely healthy........dont understand the point.
26CornerBlitz Posted December 15, 2016 Posted December 15, 2016 He's cleared and feels well enough to play. End of story.
ndirish1978 Posted December 15, 2016 Author Posted December 15, 2016 He's cleared and feels well enough to play. End of story. Unassailable logic. It's not like we've had any players who have played while nicked up in the past 2 years only to make things much worse and miss even more games as a result, right?

People B word when he plays and when he doesn't.
John from Riverside Posted December 15, 2016 Posted December 15, 2016 He's cleared and feels well enough to play. End of story. Frankly....at this point I dont trust this coaching staff to be forthcoming on this stuff They might be playing for their jobs
MDH Posted December 15, 2016 Posted December 15, 2016 Not sure what the issue is here. Doctors have told him its up to him whether the foot feels well enough to play on. He says it does. I'm no doctor and even if I was I've never examined Watkins. Who the hell am I to question to advice his doc has given him?
bobobonators Posted December 15, 2016 Posted December 15, 2016 Frankly....at this point I dont trust this coaching staff to be forthcoming on this stuff They might be playing for their jobs Unless the coaches are bribing the medical staff I wouldnt be too worried about it. Im with CB26 on this. If hes cleared to play hes cleared to play.

Yeah people want him to get the surgery over with so it doesn't affect next season, but who the heck are they to decide that?

Are we never going to have him for a full season and training camp? As long as he does it AS SOON AS THE SEASON IS DONE instead of waiting until mini camp is going to start which was stupid !! If you know something is wrong fix it - but wait if i do that i won't be able to go to Cobo & walk on the beach on my post season !! Edited December 16, 2016 by T master
Saxum Posted December 16, 2016 Posted December 16, 2016 Already gave my answer. People B word when he plays and when he doesn't. Some if they had a double X chromosome would be bitches but they try hard anyways.

Leroi Posted December 16, 2016 Posted December 16, 2016 Excuse after excuse. He is staging for next year. If he is hobbled AGAIN next year, is there any question on his bust status? Imo
bobobonators Posted December 16, 2016 Posted December 16, 2016 They do pay the doc's salary They being the Bills. Yes, im aware.
Over 29 years of fanhood Posted December 16, 2016 Posted December 16, 2016 He's cleared and feels well enough to play. End of story. But what if overcompensating for the sore foot causes poor posture and results in back problems in his 30s? Sorry .... the thing you said is correct. Besides until mathematically eliminated, every game is a must win.
NoSaint Posted December 16, 2016 Posted December 16, 2016 He's cleared and feels well enough to play. End of story. if hes cleared but higher risk, and possibly delaying a treatment option though.... id sit him. i was one of the stronger "get him in the lineup as completely as possible as early as possible" voices based on the needs of the team, and now the needs of the team are quickly becoming about the long term future and not december 2016. i can buy an argument of keeping everyone going until officially eliminated but after that -- sit TT (due to the bonus), sit sammy, sit clay, etc.... and protect our future.
H2o Posted December 16, 2016 Posted December 16, 2016 If and when they are mathematically eliminated from the playoff I fully expect him to be shut down. Jmo

If Rex's job is truly on the line, you can forget about all of this.
